  1. He needs benching! Its time to give people like Kent and Ojo a go, at the very least they'll be getting experience. At best they might score, Lallana is totally impotent, he'll never be a goal threat.
  2. I agree. You can't fault the effort, just the usual deficiencies.
  3. Think Klopp has to sign at least two players in this transfer window.. A left sided attacking player and a defensive midfielder. Coutinho is wasted out on the left, if it means him having to drop to the bench in some games so be it. Lucas is past it, and it really pains me to say this. His recovery his non-existent, the goal is a perfect illustration of that.
  4. Think this is a big part of the problem, for both players and fans. Going into games thinking we just have to turn up to beat the so-called lesser lights. The reality is that we're not that good, also the gap is shrinking all the time between the top and bottom. Having said that, we have a lot of mental and physical midgets in the team. Until that changes, we''ll keep getting these kind of results.
  5. Don't you mean Lallana and Firmino? Them two are having a right stroll through the game so far.
  6. If he doesn't want his reputation sullied badly, he should be. Too many of this players are just not good enough. Llallana is one in particular who is promise but no end product. Firmino, I pray's still settling, otherwise he's not worth the money paid for him. I wonder about their warm-up routine too, seem to have started quite a few matches in sleep mode!
  7. That is the main issue, he's not been played in the best position to influence the game.
  8. Honestly do not see the point of Llallana. No pace, strength and always too many touches.
  9. I agree with the first part, but Evans' teams where NEVER as mentally feeble and defensively inept as this lot. And they could score goals, lots of them.
  10. Think its the manager that should be looked at, his approach to bedding in the new players is incomprehensible. His team selection for this game is baffling to say the least. At least one of Lallana or Coutinho should have been in the starting line up.
  11. Playing four central midfielders totally insane. No width or structure to our play at all.
  12. He's looking lost and with good reason, he just doesn't have the legs to play there. Coutinho or Lallana behind Balotelli would have been more effective. We're looking so laboured and disjointed. Really beginning to worry about this season. Sturridge coming back alone wont solve all our problems. .
  13. He'll stay on, indispensable-just like Gerrard.
  14. That is a fact. The midfield is totally unbalanced, as it was last season-but Suarez' and Sturridge to a lesser extent made us look better than we are. The team just looks so flat and leggy.
  15. I just don't understand it! He's literally playing as a CB!:angry:/>
  16. The problem(s) with our midfield are obvious, but we can do nothing about it. Until we do, we're in for a rocky ride.
  17. Both have been poor. Think age and injury are showing for both.
  18. At some point Rodgers or even Gerrard himself will have to accept that no one plays for ever. Gerrard still has a role to play, but his time as an automatic pick is slowly but surely coming to an end. Need more energy in the middle of the field, especially without Suarez now. He'll always be able to play a great long ball and dead ball, but there's much more to his position than that. Lucas too has little energy left, in short its time to begin bringing in younger stronger players.

That's the problem with taking him off, he knits the team together. Seen it repeatedly this season, we seem to have no capable of doing what he does.

Think the whole team has looked different to be honest. Think Suarez in particular is not getting on the ball enough, he's looking very frustrated.

Not his fault alone, someone should have told him to caught out those stupid passes at half-time!! I think Rodgers at times gets too caught up in the game, Toure had been caught on the ball more than once in the first-half.

Think Rodgers has to take some blame too, the level of application from the team today except for two or three players has been disappointing. At half-time he should have lit a fuse under their asses!1
