What a c*ck. The abysmal standard of refereeing in the premier league would be easily sorted out but it’s not in their interest. Sky and the Premier league love the sh*t decisions that generate the 24hr talking points for sky sports news and the like. Hope Jurgen goes back in Toni Kross’s podcast soon and calls them all a bunch of Stefan Kuntz!!

Factoring everything in there is no question Salah has been better. I was more just thinking from the perspective of in a one off game where you could have either in your side, who would you pick. Either way, we have been incredibly fortunate to have had both in our side in the last 10 years.

Not in my lifetime and I can think as far back as Grobelaar. I can’t even think of a goalie who came through our academy having a decent career anywhere else.

I felt the same but I don’t think it was anything to do with Slot. He wasn’t Klopp. He has handled it all brilliantly though. He’s doing things his own way but isn’t afraid to embrace a huge amount of the things that made Jurgen’s team so good. Sounds simple but you have to have a ton of self belief and comfort in your own skin to do it as well as he has.

If the benchmark comparison wasn’t Allison the views on Kelleher would be better. He’s a brilliant keeper. Based on how he is playing I wouldn’t be surprised if he becomes Slot’s first choice if/when Allison departs. The Georgian lad would have to be some keeper to move ahead of him.

Suarez after the first six months. Maybe I’m looking back with rose tinted glasses but after he sorted his finishing out there was a period where it felt he would never miss. Would you rather have a peak Suarez or a peak Salah…..I could think about that for a week and still be no closer to an answer!

Excellent result. Thought Robbo looked good again after a little wobble in form in his last few games. Hughes needs to putting a two year extension in front of Mo asap.
