Michael Owen - 'now I know I'll get stick for this but for me the finish was too extravagant again. Just get closer to the goal and toe it over the line.'
Oh I totally agree, and don't blame him at all. Just further highlights where the game is now unfortunately. Doesn't matter if their from 5 mins down the round or 5000 miles away, money talks.
Yeah he's definitely gone now. The club have f***ed up letting it get to this stage but I think it's a bit of a crap thing on his part too. He could easily have said that he wanted to leave and agree a release clause in an extension to get us some money. That might have meant him only getting £300k a week though instead of £350k.
Last season Gravenberch always looked distraught when things didn't come off. It's quite likely that the whole Bayern experience had floored him confidence wise. He's been brilliant these last few weeks.
I've got a link to the additional members sale on Monday. Happened a few times last year and I never got remotely close to an actual ticket. Anybody had success and have any tips for getting into the queue?
The highlighted part is where I completely agree we fall short, but that is different from being run well. I think it's crap how we're set up but I don't think you can argue we're not run well.

I'd say we're run 'well' as a football club as we should maintain a top 4 position and are financially solvent.
A club of our size and resource should be able to compete at the top and sign the best players in the world though. For that we'd need owners that had the ambition and capability to run us as 1 of the greatest clubs, not just settling for doing 'well'.
