If a full team of sports data analysts couldn't identify a better midfielder than Endo, Gravenberch and/or Jones then they need sacking. All 3 are decent but no more than that. It's not our full time job to identify players so just because we can't say 'sign x', that doesn't give them a pass

But the football is absolutely s*** and whilst there's pressure to win, they win almost every game (until they play a decent team in Europe). When did a decent player ever have a loan spell in Scotland to help their development? The championship is far superior for these young lads.

FSG were worried that the medical team's utilisation would drop with Thiago gone so this is seen as a low cost way of resolving that and saying that they've made a signing Getting battered by other teams in Europe and beating pub sides in Scotland is not really going to improve him. The competition in the Championship will be far better.

I agree. I'd be slightly annoyed at him not leaving in a way that got us a fee but I wouldn't give him any grief. He would be absolutely slaughtered though. In today's world it doesn't take much anyway but he'd be blamed by many for the drop off. Especially when it will coincide with Salah and Virgil not being replaced adequately.
