Agree totally and in the time that Kenny has come in as Manager I think a lot of this has been put across. Go back two or three months ago and there were numerous quotes from Gerrard, Carragher, Kuyt, Pepe etc on the offal and on various sites. This isnt happening as much - its like Kenny has told them to do their talking on the pitch and not anywhere else. Its getting back to the days when the only statement coming out of the club was from the manager and personally I dont have a problem with this. Every interview by Kenny is a breath of fresh air as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely agree .......... thought the everyone played for the shirt today. Kelly was excellent throughout, Shelvey looks promising and even Babel was fighting for everything when he came on even taking a decent dig at Owen at one stage. Despite losing there was a breath of fresh air about the performance and the post match interview was from a man who's love for the club is immense.

Broughton at the moment appears to be coming out of this with the majority of the credit and increasing his reputation for being efficient. He appears to have completed the task that he was given and in turn shown shrewd business ability coupled with a bit of bite when the going gets tough. Impressed by his interview and extremely impressed with his attitude towards Hick's & Gillette in the last 24 hours. His other motivation is probably that he cant stand the "Duke Brothers" any more than the rest of us......................

Alonso has been a good servant to the club and left many memories such as the penalty in the CL final, the goal against Luton, getting Fat Frank sent off :-) etc. At least the club will get a decent fee for a player who put everything in while playing for the club and didnt run down a contract or screw the club before going to Real Madrid on the cheap

What about Matt Taylor - have always thought he would be a good squad player, decent at set pieces and scored ten times for an average Bolton side last year ........... at 27 he wouldnt be a bad asset for relatively small transfer fee
