Not sure what else Klopp should. Yesterday, for a large part of the period, we were the better side despite jittery defending and a dodgy keeper. With a recognised striker, we would have been 2 goals up. When they scored, our heads went. That says more about the players' mentality to get back in the game than anything to do with Klopp. The only thing I will pin on Klopp is Moreno. Not sure why he continues to play him.
-
If we spend it wisely. Instead we give 100 million to a manager, that we should have sacked last season, to blow it all away. If Klopp is not fully backed during the summer, FSG need to be hounded out of the club in the same way as H&G.

No chance any keeper in the world saves that. If you want to blame someone, blame Lovren and Sakho for disappearing. Lovren in particular did not even make an attempt to attack the ball even when it sat nicely for Vardy. I mean f*ck me, the basics of defending is that you at least attack the ball - not just stand there and let him leather it. For the second goal - Lovren again. Just stood there ball watching.

Exactly. Klopp came into a new league with three months of the season already underway. He did not have a preseason and has never worked with any of the players. Added to this he has had a brutal run of injuries and games where he has not been able to have a settled side and implement his ideas in training. To compound matters he has been managing without a recognised striker for two months. But no, he must do better. If people are doubting his ability, then let's get rid and bring someone like Martinez, Sherwood, Harry Redknapp, Mark Hughes or an unknown manager from an obscure league. That will definitely turn our fortunes around.

Let's get rid. Either that or you can f*ck off with this sh*t.

Glad we have Klopp then who sees some sense in not spunking his limited transfer budget on a player that might work or might not. Lets wait until the summer before we judge him. -

Judging by the quality of his signings in the past and his scouting network in Germany, he will be able to sign three top player for that price. Slightly disappointed we have not signed anyone but not annoyed -
I absolutely love the guy. Carra's next question was that with our current injury crisis, whether there is a place for him on the bench. JK replied "We are not that desparate!". Quality.

Even Brad Pitt would do a better job there than Moreno so Brad Smith is worth a go. -

The brutal fixture list in January was always going to kill us. 9 games in total in this month added to the 7 games in December. There is very little time for training but having said that, these sh*t players must show some cojones and stand up for the fight. -

Disagree - he can't even stop sh*t. Except his own because the f*cker looks constipated most of the time. -

Klopp has to start benching some of these c*nts. It is unacceptable to put in a sh*t performance after a sh*t performance and for Klopp to do nothing. Sooner or later he will have to take responsibility for persisting with the same sh*t week in week out. For those who think Sakho is our best defender, then my friends we are well truly and f*cked for the rest of this season as the rest must be completely sh*t. -

Shocking if true. I am glad we have a proper manager who gives me hope despite the recent results. -

They also have a better chance of attracting the best players and getting them to sign for us. Rewind 24 months with Klopp at the helm, we would have signed Sanchez. Rodgers would be happy to blame the transfer committee but I pretty certain that Rodgers was a key reason why Sanchez did not come here. Ditto Henrikh Mkhitaryan and who ever else we missed out on. -

He kept harping on about playing high tempo fast paced football but then he signed players Benteke, Lallana, Allen, Milner, Lovren, Aspas, Borini, Toure and Lambert, that were anything but plodders. The side is chronically lacking in the pace department and that is mostly down to Rodgers. -
You can make a case that he is not directly responsible for all of the above goals. However, his indecisiveness just spreads through the entire back line. They don't know whether he is staying on his line or coming to claim the cross. Contrast this with Reina where the defenders knew what he was going to do. I remember one of his early games when he came out to punch a cross and took out the defender (Agger I think). When you have a keeper that commands the area, the rest of the defense can just get on with their job i.e. defending.

Steven Caulker -
Clyne, Lovren and Sturridge although the latter is debatable.
-
Agreed. Committee needs binning ASAP. Klopp will make sure of that. Interesting though: - The Committee was responsible for signing Can, Sakho, Moreno and Firmino all of which have a future and players Klopp likes. If you assume that they were also responsible for signing Alberto and Balotelli, their record is 4 out of 6. The transfer committee spent a total c.90 million on the above players. - Rodgers signed Benteke, Lallana, Clyne and Milner. If you also add Lovren, Aspas, Sturridge, Markovic, Mignolet and Allen, his hit rate is 3 out of 10. All of these players cost a staggering 130 million. That is pretty dire. Add to this that he was willing to sell Henderson, it is pretty obvious that Rodgers was the main culprit. His attempt to deflect attention away from his own failings.
-
Second that.
-
How is he supposed to do that when they are constantly injured and he is having to shuffle the deck for every game. We have lost Skrtle, Sakho and Lovren for extended periods. Hard to put that on him. Fine to say ship Mignolet straight away but what message does that send to the rest of the squad. They will be right in thinking what's the point, he is going to get rid of us anyway. He wants to give Mignolet time to prove how sh*t he is. Given how fragile this set of players were under Rodgers, it will take more than a few months to instil confidence.
-
What point are you trying to make by trotting out the statistics. I'm interested to know. From my perspective, I have been p*ssed at the manner of some of the losses but given a) he took on a dog sh*te of a squad; b) he has come into a new league part way through the season with no pre-season to tune and train the squad; c) has had horrific luck with injuries; and d) a murderous fixture list with no time to work on things in training. I am therefore extremely interested in what he could have done better that another manager in his position would have done.
-
I am not sure he will get that opportunity any time soon. This team and squad needs major reconstructive surgery. I don't think we have that kind of money. I suspect we have p*ssed whatever money we had on the sh*t we are seeing week in week out. It's f*cking depressing that we have spent close to £200 million over the last 2 seasons on complete and utter w*nk. I hope the first thing he does is shut down the transfer committee. Second - do a complete overhaul of our scouting department.
