  1. I agree re our scouts but maybe its the way Rafa sets the team up. Babel would be devastating in the Arsenal team but he looks distinctively average in our team. Why is that? Half of Arsenal's team would not get in our team/would look ordinary in this side but they look like world beaters at Arsenal. Not sure what it is but it needs sorting out, quick.
  2. Hi all This is my first post on this forum so go easy on me. On yesterday's performance it is hard to disagree with Dossena and Degen's performance. However, I think there were a number of factors which contributed to the woeful performances put up by Deggen and Dossena and the team for that matter. These are: Our midfield was non-existent. They didnt press, chase 50-50 causes let alone lost causes and couldnt pass water let alone pass the ball. One of our strikers was uninterested and the other was completely out of his depth and couldnt hold the ball, couldnt run with the ball. Hell, he couldnt even stand up properly. El Zhar and Babel on the wings were brilliant going forward but provided no cover to the full backs and no support when it was two on one. This shows the value of Kuyt and Reira. Granted Dossena was at fault for the third goal but two of their goals came from the right side. And before you point out the second goal, that was entirely Cavalieri's fault. What the f*ck was he doing coming for the ball that far out and then completely missing and knocking out Dossena in the process. Spurs were rampant and have been since Harry took over. The Harry effect hit the second teamers as they seemed more up for the only trophy they have any realistic chance of winning. We are not a bad team after a poor performance in the 4th Cup every team wants to win. Thats just my view.
