  1. Boll*cks. This is his first offence. He's more likely to get community service no more than that. It could just as easily be a fine. And dont you think for one second he might be charged because he is refusing to name the guys who committed the assualt. Not only that but even if he is guilty, and that is a big IF, he is likely to have the best lawyer a money can buy to enable him to escape with little or no punishment. Barton got 6 months after committing the same offence for the 3rd time.
  2. Whenever Newcastle have had the ball we've looked shaky defensively. In particular we've had problems picking up Duff. If we are not careful this could easily go Newcastle's way. We need to fight for every ball in the second half as if our life depends on it.
  3. Sammy is class. So glad to have him back at Anfield. I love it when he keeps on saying 'we expect to be at the top, we are Liverpool Football Club'.
  4. We have to win today. Absolutely no excuses. Draw or a loss and we are out of the title race. This IS a must win game given what has happened elsewhere.
  5. Dont worry about it mate, Cobs has an agenda and he's sticking to it.
  6. And our current form is likely to continue is it? What makes you so sure that we cant win the next 6 games on the trot? Keep doubting the team after that is what a 'true supporter' does.
  7. Spot on my man. I am chuffed with the point. Now we need a repeat of last years CL 2nd leg result when they come to Anfield. I am looking forward to Bolton at home.
  8. And there you were last week saying Benayoun should be nowhere near the first team. Hmm. Your name says it all, take another Swipe at the team.
  9. F*ck me, do you have some sort of agenda?
  10. We got a point more than Utd did when they played there and in all fairness we should have won. Utd cant say the same thing. I was nervous about this game but I am proud of the guys. To get a point against Arsenal when considering their record against the other Big 3 is a good result in my opinion. 10 men or not.
  11. According to others half of our entire 1st team is out and we wont have our manager at the game. Madness.
  12. I've got a bad feeling about this one as well. Everytime we've had a must win game we've failed to turn up. I fear the same could happen in this game. Although Rafa not being at the game could work in our favour, one for the 'boss' and all that.

    Lucas

Conveniently forgetting that the 'homegrown lad' is not good enough to hang on to Lucas' coat tail let alone progress. The 'homegrown lad' is not good enough to be considered back up to Lucas let alone Gerrard, Masch or Alonso.
  14. What a load of boll*cks. Rubbish article. Lazy journalism once again.
  15. Torres is nothing like Berbatov and as such the partnership with Keane will not work. Berbatov is good at holding up the ball and bringing others into play but not a prolific goalscorer. While Torres is good at holding up the ball, by asking him to do that is taking a huge part of his game away which is running at people and getting into the box where he is lethal. Rafa assumed Keane would do the dirty work i.e. hold up the ball and play Torres in. It hasnt worked liked that and its time to cut our losses.
  16. And he's done that how many times for us? West Ham at home, Fulham at home?? Unlocking defenses my a***.
  17. Exactly. Keane seems to have gone from a flop to a match winner by simply sitting on the bench. Bizarre.
  18. . Spot on Steve, spot on. I cant f*cking understand all this moaning. We are top 1 point ahead of Chelsea and 6 ahead of Utd, both preseason favourites. Yes we should be further ahead but equally we could be 6 points off the top. Maybe people would prefer the latter.
  19. They may have experience of a title run-in but they dont like Champions to me. It will be interesting. To be honest your expectations of Liverpool might have been different to mine. I was expecting us to have an outside chance of winning the title but at least be challenging for it. At the moment they are matching my expectations. I am sure secretly the Mancs and Chelsea must be seething to see us still in the mix leading upto Christmas.
  20. Tell me David, which of Arsenal's current team has the experience of a title run-in. Please enlighten me because I would swear that excluding Fabregas and Gallas none of their starting XI or squad has been in title winning side. Could be wrong. Contrast this with our squad which includes Champions League winners, FA Cup Winners, European Champions and Olympic gold medalist. Hell that doesnt matter, because grass is f*cking greener on the other side.
  21. Oh and Utd have mounted a sustained run. I take Chelsea have as well. And if Arsenal are capable of putting a good run together why the f*ck arent we when the best striker in the world returns to full fitness. Get a f*cking grip man. We tonked Hull yesterday but still came away with a draw. This is our bad run of the season but the good thing is the other Big 3 have not taken advantage of the situation. Arsenal away is winnable, we are due a win there.
  22. Change to what mate. At this moment in time the way Keane has been playing, he offers nothing more than Kuyt. Both work hard for the team, if anything Kuyt works harder. Kuyt was involved in both goals today. Its getting tedious and boring. Rafa is damned if he does and damned if he doesnt. I'm off, this forum is doing my head in.
  23. Right. And Keane has never missed an easy chance. I've lost count of the number of times he has failed to produce anything in the big games. F*ck me, 17 games played with at least 10 without our best player. Where the f*ck would the Mancs be without Ronaldo, in a much worse position than us.. Granted Kuyt didnt have the best of games but we would have won this game 2-1 if it wasnt for pub defending by Carra. And where the f*ck was the defence for their first goal. If anything this game is going to spur on the team, our form will improve, no doubt about it. We absolutely dominated this game. Hull created f*ck all yet we drew. Our luck will change both on the scoring front and the injury front. It has to.
  24. I think with the supporters like we have its no wonder we are struggling away from home. I am confident of 3 points against Arsenal next week. After all it is away from home.
  25. That performance and sub management was nothing short of a f*cking disgrace. Sort the f*ck out Rafa.
