  1. No he can't, he needs his dad to help him out. But unfortunately he can't as they are both just as clueless as each other.
  2. So they were good then and have now turned to sh*t to suit your agenda?
  3. What the f*ck is that supposed to mean?
  4. It would have been if Rafa was given the surplus cash from Alonso plus Keane money. No doubt he would have used that cash to buy a back up striker, a decent centre back and possible an attacking midfielder. I think it is rich saying we replaced Aberloa and Alonso with Johnson and Aquilani when we needed more than that to take the next step.
  5. Either way Rafa was f*cked over by G&H. But that doesnt mean much for some people on here who lay the blame squarely on Rafa's shoulders.
  6. When GH was in hospital. Did you actually read what I posted earlier?
  7. The 80 points has to be put into context. A large portion of those points were gained when GH was in hospital. I think it had more to do with 'lets do it for GH' attitude.
  8. Why the f*ck are we talking about Murphy as well?
  9. Why are we talking about Lucas in a thread about the owners.
  10. I posted this in another thread but I think it is more appropriate here. In response to those thinking Rafa screwed up in the transfer window, I am sure if Rafa knew that the Alonso money would completely disappear he would have kept Alonso rather than let him leave. I am sure Rafa's train of thought was that if he could sell Alonso for 35 million he would: 1. Buy Aquilani using the 20 million budget 2. Buy someone like Silva for 25 million (using Alonso money) 3. Buy a back up centre half like turner for 4-6 million 4. Possibly sell Babel and Voron for say combined 12 million and buy another decent back up striker for 16 million using some money from the Alonso deal. I am sure Rafa did not expect our owners to f*ck him over like they did. If he knew this he would have kept Alonso and Aberloa.
  11. What the f*ck does that tell us?
  12. Riiight. That has got to be one of the most pathetic responses I have ever come across.
  13. I agree set pieces should be practiced but a lot of it has to do with understanding and when you are constantly chopping and changing it can affect the chemistry. Re the last point - that is revisionism at its best. If he bought a defender and a centre forward who was going to replace Alonso. Believe me I am as frustrated as you with Rafa re the Aquilani situation. He has taken a gamble and it could well end up costing him his job but until Aquilani proves to be a flop I am willing to back Rafa if he thinks this guy is the best replacement for Alonso.
  14. I am sure if he knew that the Alonso money would completely disappear he would have kept him rather than let him leave. I am sure Rafa thought I can sell Alonso I can: 1. 15. Are you forgetting the slight problem with being able to keep Alonso?
  16. And who bought them in the first place and when has he had the opportunity to play them all at the same time. And do we really have two Danish and Slovakian international defenders. And it is so convenient you mention Dossena in that list yet claim he is sh*t. Are you really as thick as you sound?
  17. Including you.
  18. And yet you would be in the same position for 10 years without any career progression. People will think you are completely sh*t at your job and dont deserve to be there despite your protests to the contrary. You will blame it on your bosses being complete c*nts but no one will be willing to listen. They will just consider that as a 'convenient' excuse. Does that sound familiar?
  19. While you conveniently forget how bloated their squads were in the first place which makes any need to buy new players completely redundant especially in Chelsea's case. People also conveniently forget that Avram Grant took the same Chelsea squad to 2nd place and the final of the CL. I mean Avram f*cking Grant. That is how good that Chelsea squad is. Pisshead has been at Utd for 24 years and has been able to have 'transition' seasons where is he can rebuild a squad without any fear of a backlash from the fans. Rafa on the other hand is expected to right the wrongs of the last 20 years despite taking us to heights previously not experienced since Dalglish was a manager. And before people mention, GH's achievements dont even come close to Rafas and that includes the '5 trophy haul' which does not even come close to the triumph in Istanbul.
  20. Disagree. Its more a case of heads I win and tails I win, so f*ck of Rafa. Well at least that is what I gather from some posters on here.
  21. Aah the classic I dont know who was available but there must be someone. Good one. And Owen - give me a break.
  22. Oops double post - blame it on my internet connection.
  23. I think he was referring to Crouch not Heskey. But you can not put selling Crouch on Rafa's shoulders - Crouch wanted to leave and Rafa got a decent price. Bellamy was sold to fund Torres. I am sure if Rafa had the choice to keep Bellamy and buy Torres he would have taken that. Keane was a bad buy but was sold quickly and our form improved massively. He was a massive disruption to the team and was rightly moved on. Even in our current situation I would not have Keane in the squad. For those still advocating that Keane should have stayed are complete dimwits.
  24. Fair point. But there are mitigating factors such as our defenders being injured at various points of the season. I am sure that has played a big part in our struggles against set pieces. Last season we could replace Agger or Skrtel with Hyppia. Rafa wanted Turner but got Kyriakos. If we had better cover than Kyriakos we would still be in the CL.
