The issue with Kenny is not how he sets the team up to play. There is nothing wrong with that as there have been very few shocking performances. The issue is mostly around his transfer activity in particular signing the likes of Downing, Carroll and Adams. This an area he needs to improve on significantly. He also needs to be a bit ruthless in making changes when things are not going well. Kenny no doubt has had a galvanizing effect on the squad particularly on players that either looked lost and out of their depth or seemed like they were ready to move on (Skrtle, Johnson, Maxi, Kuyt to name a few). We absolutely d*cked Arsenal on Saturday yet came away with nothing. I am happy for him to stay but next season is make or break for him.

I reckon Rafa is Tottenham bound. A long shot may be Arsenal if Wenger does one this summer. There is nothing else out there that interests him in England.

So we paid best part of £77m on squad players. Bloody expensive squad players they are. Wish Rafa had that luxury when he was here.

A couple of things you are missing. He needed to buy likes of Momo to build a strong squad as highlighted by Momo's strong performances when Didi was not playing. As for wide players, Rafa made numerous attempts to sign wingers, Simoa, Alves, Vicente, Silva, Malouda, Van De Vaart to name a few. When he was priced out of the market for them he settled for second option and therefore was forced to take a gamble on the likes of Pennant, Leto and Gonzalez. He signed Riera who was a reasonable success. As for fullbacks, I dont see any problem with signing Dossena especially since he was one of the best fullbacks in Italy. Unfortunately it did not work out for him here. Johnson was signed on the basis that he was very good going forward and that he would work well Kuyt. For a while they did work well before the wheels came off the team. Johnson cant be that bad as he is still in the team.

I am not too sure Kenny has had any dressing down. He would have walked if he thought he was right and the owners were backing him into a corner. I suspect Kenny thought he needed to apologise as Suarez backed him into a corner through his refusal to shake that c*nt's hand despite agreeing with Kenny that he would shake the c*nt's hand.

This season was meant to be somewhat of an improvement over last season. Last season after 14 games - 19 points. League position 9th. This season after 14 games we have 23 points and are 7th in the league. However, after 100million pound of investment you would expect wouldnt you?

People criticised Rafa's signings and in some cases rightly so. Isn't high time we questioned the following signings: Carrol - 35m - next to no impact Downing - 18m - See Carrol Adam - 8m - bizarre signing that offers very little especially since we let Meireless go. Henderson - 16m - still makes me think what the f***? That is a combined 77m pounds - money Rafa would have loved to spend in one season.

Kuyt is sh*t.

Key thing here is - did Fergie have to deal with the sh*t Rafa was given by G&H and then Purslow after him? No is the answer. Rafa made mistakes but the cr*p he took from the board took its toll on him. The biggest mistake Rafa made was taking the board head on which meant he took his eye off the ball and it ultimately led to his downfall. It is easy to say in hindsight that he should not have gone head to head with the owners and the board but if I put myself in Rafa's position I can understand why he did it. He loved the club (still does) and wanted to be successful. There were people preventing him from doing that and he had to flush it out.
