  1. Unfortunately for us, he becomes a home w*nker when he referees at Anfield. I am convinced he absolutely detests us.
  2. And as we were when they had their other line up.
  3. Suarez has to be the central of the three. He's had much more success playing there as has Sturridge playing on the left or right.
  4. And as a goalkeeper judging by his save against Ghana in the world cup.
  5. Personally, I think the cushioned lay-off to send Sturridge was up there with them. A thing of beauty and shows what a genius this boy is.

  8. Yep - his name was Harry Possitter but he was forced to change it. He's still magic though.
  9. I have been impressed with how sets up the team at home but he maybe needs to show a bit more caution away from home especially against the big teams.

Aspas looks like Ayre's long lost son. Probably is.
  11. Or: 5. Club try to get first choice, make a balls of it, try to go for an expensive option at the very last minute to appease the fans knowing full well there was no way they could complete the deal. Then make an excuse that the other side would not sign the papers. In my opinion FSG are no better than H&G. The ultimate business model of both is exactly the same i.e. buy at a cheap price, suck as much money as they can out of the club and then try to sell us at a profit (its going to happen). The only difference is H&G were complete lunatics in the way they went about things. FSG are much smarter and come across as more civilised and 'caring' and hence get less grief. A bloodsucker is a bloodsucker regardless of the clothes he is wearing.
  12. Our squad depth is no worse than Everton and Tottenham whom we are competing against for 4th.
  13. Completely understand your line of questioning. My point was that they generate significantly less revenue than us yet they were able to go out and spend more money to help them achieve their goal - i.e. Stay in the premier league. We needed to spend in this window to solidify 4th spot yet we dithered not once but twice. I can guarantee Rodgers had a wish list of players but was probably told that he can have 1 out of 4 so he decided to go with the attacking player he needed. FSG are treating us as a business which is wrong on all levels.
  14. Southampton and Cardiff City spent more money than us in the last 2 transfer windows. Says it all really.

Get out of here. Diego Costa is in the form of his life. I would back him to get a hattrick today.
  21. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/nov/14/transfer-window-premier-league-january-targets http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1768372-why-yehven-konoplyanka-is-a-threat-to-england-and-a-fit-for-the-premier-league This bit in the article is very interesting: "There was a bid of around £10million from a Premier League club this summer, who we expect to go back in for him in January," his agent told the national paper. I am sold - bring him BR.
  22. Rodgers needs to frickin learn quickly that attacking away from home just doesnt frickin work. You set up your team to counter. We have conceded 2 goals in 7 of the last 8 away games. Frickin atrocious.
  23. Cissoko still gives me the sh*ts. He is proper cr*p.
  24. Gerrard for Aspas on at half time. By the way a useful bit of info. A mate of mine told me that Aspas in India means here and there i.e. all over the place. Amazing how the name fits.
  25. Maybe we should have set ourselves up like Hull today against City and Chelsea. We might have walked away with 2 points from those 2 games.
