I don't think it is anything against Brendan but what other teams will do. Man City will have another season under Pellegrini and will no doubt strengthen. Chelsea will buy a striker they need. Arsenal will strengthen. Mancs will have Van Gaal at the helm and will be much tougher to beat. I dont think we will get the same breaks next season. Almost everything went our way and we still f*cked up. Our defence is on par with the teams fighting relegation not challenging the top. Unfortunately, it may be some time before we are challening. That is the thing that hurts. We got so close but totally f*cked it up. Yesterday was a disgrace.

As much as I like the guy, all this cr*p about we only play one way needs to change. We needed to throw something different at Mourinho yesterday but instead it was the same again. Mourinho saw it from a mile away. Same goes for City and Chelsea away. We should have been set up to counterattack but instead we went at them from the off to 'control the game' and we lost. Take those 6 points of Chelsea and 3 off City and things are not looking too bad. Instead we are staring at a barrel. That has to change going forward.

I dont. Next season will be a battle for 3rd or 4th between us, Arsenal and the Mancs. It will be a while before we get in this position.
