I am not worried. We were missing our number one striker, our first choice centre half and our best player. Markovic is a massive upgrade on Moses. Moreno is an upgrade on Cissoko (although he defended well). Lallana is an upgrade on Luis Alberto. Manquillo is a massive upgrade on Johnson Anyone is an upgrade on Aspas. Balotelli is not in the same league as Suarez but then again not many are (unless of course you are Messi and Ronaldo). It was a shocker but remember Arsenal lost 3-1 at home to Villa last season but led the league for a large part of last season. Oh and Villa created f*ck all from open play.

I would think we would have put watertight clauses in the contract. I would like to believe that Balotelli is convinced he can change and achieve those milestones. As a player he has everything - pace, strength, skill and technical ability. He needs to sort his head out. If that happens, the rest of the league better watch out.
