I remember when Ferguson was in charge at united and his net spend on a few seasons was way less than even ours, I couldn’t understand why, they were in a great position and didn’t need to add as much or risk as much. If JK and Co. didn’t think we were getting JB then I doubt he’d be holding back the money when we can all see we need more in the middle unfortunately we ( because of lack of investment from the owners) don’t have the luxury to speculate in the transfer market we have to stick rigidly to the plan if we want to be able to afford the JB’s etc if this world.

Its the club’s money, we spend what we earn and im certain JK knows exactly who he wants and the prices we can afford. Would it be better to have more money to spend, obviously but we have what we have and if we afford JB and and whomever else then im happy because that’s what JK was asking for. Maybe the current hot shot Enzo Fernandez isn’t worth the asking price or MC is just another above average plodder and JK knows we need and can get better. I’m not bitching and moaning about transfers because i know JK is in charge and he knows wtf is going on, relax

So you think we can bully BD and throw money until they sell him, interesting, how much should we throw at JB to get him now, maybe we don’t have 150mill + to throw at one player, especially if said player is gettable at maybe closer to 100 mill in summer, guess it depends on what world the club is living in. Nothing of the sort, he runs the club, who does he answer to, Hogan? When it connected to transfers Klopp decides who comes and goes, FSG have no interest beyond making money. I’m % certain Klopp knows what money the club has to spend and he decides who it is spent on, if not him then who?

Right, why did we just spend all that money on Gakpo if we are broke and in desperate need of probably 2 midfielders, why are we chasing JB at over 100 mill etc? Doesn’t make any sense to me does it to you?

My take on Klopps interview is different, it’s not FSG that decides what we spend, it’s Klopp, he knows how much money we have he also knows he’s not getting anything from FSG but he never did so nothing has changed on that front. He has his targets lined up IE JB and god knows who else. My interpretation of what he said is basically there is nothing out there that will solve our issues for the money they are looking for and this is not FSG telling Klopp to play poor mouth this is Klopp being realistic, he makes the decisions he runs the shop.

Nothing for him at Liverpool whilst AB is at the club, he needs to go out snd prove himself by being a no.1

That was probably our strongest team we could have put out, it doesn’t look like it makes any difference, it has to be tactical as well as aging players.

Never doubted him for a second (after he signed). If he can squeeze 1 or 2 more in this game it could turn his whole season around

He’s getting/creating so many chances if he just focuses on getting them on target he’ll score loads, can be an absolute monster.

Nunez is going to be the main man, unlucky with the post, looks a threat anytime he gets the ball
