i suppose it could be a more middle class support. Or more accuratly more middle class supporters are choosing to go the match. There seemed to be plenty of scallies at OT though! and the tickets weren't cheap. Probably an element of both. Either way it doesn't look like i'm getting a ticket for the final!!!

tickets are getting harder and harder to buy. In 1992 i got my season ticket straight away, now there is a umpteen year waiting list. In 1996 the semi didn't even sell out. This season there wasn't a spare to be had for the semi. In the past i could usually use some sort of contact to find a spare for myself or a family member but for the semi and the final this year people are just laughing at me. It can't be that we have more fans than before. I think young men just have a lot more disposable income than 10, even poss 5, years ago.
