What a disgrace that was. There were Wolves fans leaving the ground last night saying how good it had been and how much they enjoyed it! Loads of them too, not just a few. It goes to show what different expectation levels can do but how long before we leave Anfield after a 0-0 against Fulham or someone and saying how great it was? We lower our ambitions and expectations at our peril. Taken in isolation, yes, a 0-0 against Wolves away isn't that bad but looked at collectively with the way we've been playing recently we see a dark and ominous pattern emerging. The team are bereft of confidence, leadership, desire and ability. The manager looks like a rabbit trapped in the headlights and unable or unwilling to do anything or try something different or ambitious. This is the same manager that pulled off Gerrard and replaced him with Lucas who went on to win the game for us at Goodison not so long ago, remember. Yes, Paddy the Greek looks good BUT we've descended to playing the game to what is his level just like we descended to Wolves' level last night. That's a damning indictment of any Liverpool team and Liverpool manager. I sincerely hope that he rewards those fans who've continued backed him to the hilt by not skulking off and leaving us in this mess but grows a pair and starts doing something to repair the damage he's inflicted.
