Alberto was signed in the summer, the talk was about midway signings in january that would give us that last push to claim the title. I understand you get a few million more ending at 1st place over 2nd. Still... We are being investigated while we havnt spent "that much", before this summer...

Considering we are being investigated for breach of the FFP already. Had we splashed the cash last year how do you reckon that investigation would look this season?

Factor in that if Bayern stroll to the Bundesliga title again this year they might give up on the Bundesliga and want to move somewhere else... and then Bayern will come in for them...

But you doubt we/our scouts would have had a look at signing him? He did reasonably well for a 19/20 yr old playing for a struggling La Liga side. While as you said, we have signed other similar youngsters that have "stood out" at lower division clubs. Suso was toying in the U teams for too long, should have been tested far earlier then we did IMO, still think he'll become a very good player. And yeah, hope we manage to get a few clauses into the deal if he leaves.
