Denmark got the semis of the last Euros but they don't really have any top players. You can play as an effective team but you need the odd star to do things. If Erikssen and Hjoberg are your best players, you're a below average international team.

Same. The final should be France vs Brazil. But the knockout matches could be fun. England can totally get beat by Senegal for example.

I know a lot of Americans over here. Some of them get soccer just fine. Some of them don't understand playing for 90 minutes but having a good nil nil draw. It's cricket test matches that really f*** with them. Five days of play and nobody wins.

Think if France don't win it it won't just be down to Deschamps though. Missing three key starting players in Kante, Pogba and Benzema would be a factor. Plus other teams being good.

If they persist with Suarez as a starter it is hard to see them scoring. Maybe bring him on last ten like but as he is he's nowhere near the pace.

Interesting World Cup at this point. No blatant obvious favourite and it feels like a lot of the usually "lesser" countries are playing well as teams and could cause upsets. Knockout rounds are going to be fun. All sorts of nonsense could happen.

Club football pays way more than international does. Imagine Klopp or Guardiola with this squad of England players. Imagine the belief and drive. Nice chap though, wears a waistcoat.

Bellingham is really good. So are Kane, Sterling, Saka, Mount and Rice. But they're being managed by a guy who at club level would be in the Championship at best.

He's underqualified. Nice bloke and all that but never managed a top team in his life. It's kind of awkward slagging him off. Like kicking a puppy. He has no idea.

He's the world's only right back playmaker. He creates goals and switches play like every other team manager dreams of. No, I'll play a functional lad who takes the occasional good free kick thank you, and I know best. Also, Harry Maguire.

US have been smart. Southgate is not a good manager and doesn't have game changing stuff in him at all. Imagine all the other country managers looking at this and going you left Trent on the bench? He isn't the first name on your team sheet?
