  1. Evans has resigned ... Anyone knows the answer ?
  2. A honest question: When was the last time a LFC manager was sacked during the season ?
  3. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6577163,00.html
  4. Apart from saving us from paying 40 million of annual interest (in the best case) or administration (in the worst case), NESV have really done nothing yet ...
  5. Why ? Because nothing bad can happen to us ? I would have thought that you have learned something from our recent history ... Really ? http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/corporate/directors
  6. And who exactly has suggested that the CEO has to be the star of the show ? We have merely suggested that he should be involved in the process of appointing the new manager ...
  7. M'Vila admits to interest http://www.skysports...6570204,00.html
  8. I am pretty much certain that we could get a better replacement for Hodgson than Coyle ...
  9. With Cecil still being on the Board, that is one frightening possibility ...
  10. Nah, they are not that stupid ... Or maybe they are ?
  11. Owen Coyle is a very decent manager, but he needs another couple of good seasons at Bolton, until he is considered as a possible LFC manager ...
  12. Comparing FSG with G&H is just not right ... FSG is a group of 17 serious investors, while G&H were proven leveraged buyout frauds ...
  13. Because we need competent people making competent decisions ... Let me give you an example: VfB Stuttgart, a club that has won the Bundesliga only 3 years ago, are sitting in the relegation zone, and have changed their manager today ... For the 3rd time in 6 months ... What is this telling you ?
  14. Unfortunately, it turned out that Edelman's advisory role was limited only on the take-over process, on the behalf of RBS, even though I am hoping that he will be considered for the role of our new CEO ... Only mathematically ... We are nowhere near the quality level of the squads of Chelsea, Mancs, Arsenal, City and Spurs ... Our team will need a serious re-building effort, if we are to challenge for the top 4 spots any time soon ...
  15. The season was already thrown away when Cecil sacked Rafa and appointed Roy ... The loan deals for talented players like Aquilani and Insua were a further proof of that ... The damage done to this club by Cecil is much bigger than we could anticipate at first ... And he is still an influential club official ...
  16. Because Cecil is still acting as a member of the Board and an adviser to the new owners ... Any new managerial appointment will be primarily on his recommendation ... We probably won't get Roeder, Dowie or Davey, but I wouldn't rule out Martin O'Neill and Alan Curbishley ...
  17. Frankly, none of us is really competent to run a football club of LFC's size ... That is why I have suggested that the owners should appoint a competent CEO, before addressing the manager's issue ...
  18. Roy has already been stripped of the biggest part of his competences in the transfer department ... That is a clear indication that he is not here for the long term ... As for keeping him for the rest of the season, I have already stated that I would prefer Kenny in the role of the caretaker, but ultimately, that decision will have to be made by the new CEO ...
  19. The only patronizing turd around here is yourself ... The time of the fans' crusades is over ... I am not defending Roy in any form or shape, but have you ever thought that we might get even worse under another manager ? Especially someone that has never managed in the Premier League ... This club needs the right decisions ... Not the ones suggested by the impatient fans ...
  20. As I have said, I share the frustration ... However, we are in a very sensitive period for the club, and the decisions that the new owners will make in the next 6-12 months, will shape our future for the decades to come ... The level of the fans' impatience we are experiencing at the moment is not something that we could expect from the proper LFC fans ... FFS, we are not the Toon Army ...
  21. This club was f***ed up at Board level, and the recovery should start at Board level ... Roy was never the core of the problem, he is only a consequence ...
  22. A top 4 spot was way beyond our reach, even at the start of the season ... We have the 6th best squad in the Premier League at the moment, and expecting that any manager (Roy or his temporary replacement) could get us there is an unrealistic expectation ... People say that challenging for the top 4 spot is a must, and I respectfully disagree with them ... At LFC, only challenging for the title is an acceptable scenario, and every move our new owners make should be pointed towards that goal ... We need to lay down foundations for a new successful generation of LFC ... Making hasty and not well-thought decisions is not the way to do it ...
  23. The new CEO would certainly be someone with huge experience in every aspect of the game, especially since our new owners are pretty much clueless about the game ... I expect someone of very high profile, like David Dein ...
  24. I respect that ... Now, we should be patient and hope that FSG would get all the information they need, in order to appoint our next manager of the same quality ...
  25. As far as we know, it might still happen, once the new CEO is appointed ... Lets not forget that until we get a new CEO, Cecil would act as an adviser to FSG, who are new to the world of football ... FSG are not experienced enough to make a decision on changing the manager ... And Cecil would certainly not make such a recommendation, considering that Roy was his appointment ...
