    Southampton were doing well then. Did as well as he could with absolutely zero support. No complaints from me.

    Anyone else have any slight issues getting in? Digital tickets wouldn't work and we were then told there was an issue with Samsung phones and had to delete the ticket and reload the QR code from the email. Panic set in as we couldn't find any WiFi and data wasn't working. Finally reloaded ticket and got in with about 10 mins to spare. That singing in extra time was something like I've never experienced. Everyone around screaming their heads off. Sure it took the young players to another level.

    Weird that. 'Wish you were here' came on Spotify in the car yesterday. I had to turn it off quickly as couldn't listen to it. Which doesn't make sense because he is still here at the moment. Anyway as you were.

    I'm clinging to the fact that he said he would never manage another club in England, not that he would never manage here again.

    By comparison, that's only six less than we've conceded in the league all season. We are defensively sound and seem to improving still. Fewest goals conceded in the league, goes unnoticed but when you are banging them in at the other end it becomes decisive.

    The don't look as well organised defensively as we do. Could be the difference.

    Its a weird one with Haaland. For me they have a better shape without him playing so don't think they will miss him that much at all. Obviously scores goals but they have scored over 30 in the league without him so hardly paupers if he is not there.

    Yeah you get the impression this is ideal time to give him a breather and to recover from some knocks. Wouldn't be surprised to see him come back from injury quicker than expected like Allison. Not buying the story the VVD was injured/ill either. He was rested for Arsenal, quietly so not all statements shoukd be taken at face value.

    They get a lot of help from the officials in just about every game I have seen them in. All this will help in propounding the myth that they are an exceptional side when you look at results. Loads of injury time when they need a goal, diving around like fannies without it being pulled up on. Also some inexplicable decisions like the rugby tackle on Jones. Evidently they can also show dissent without impunity. Maybe it is just coincidence.
