  1. Who has dropped more points at home this season, us or Chelsea? Do the Mancs look comfortable either today or with the incredibley flukey win against Sunderland. Should we discount a***? This is a sound thread, long way to go.
  2. No doubt he still feels we play in a ugly way. "The first leg was weird, even the goals they scored were weird," said the teenager. "The problem we have is that most of our opponents play in an ugly way, waiting for us to leave gaps at the back, and then counter-attack us. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/footbal...lay-439010.html
  3. Hi Akadimi what do you think of our academy?
  4. a*** = arsenal
  5. Totally unwarranted. You play passes to marked players in the reasonable expectation that they have enough quality to to deal with it and make space for others. Sadly we have no such players. He would be a revelation at a*** and that it why he must never be allowed to go there.
  6. Preparation is the key. I got loads.
  7. So we are going for 0-0 then! Blow them away in the first 20 minutes.
  8. Please go and have that feeling somewhere else! I'm very confident. They don't know what's waiting for them. 2-0.
  9. No way. I can see a 0-0 to them though.
  10. Without going too gung-ho. If we go a goal down it will probably end in tears I feel.

    Andy Gray

Muleskinner, can't say without getting someone into trouble. But it is fact.
  12. Of all the players you list, I think only two or possibly three are in Rafa's plans, ideally.

    Andy Gray

Don't know about Claridge, but I know about Gray.

    Andy Gray

Because the complaints were specific to Gray. It is a fact that he has been spoken to by his bosses about Liverpool. Whether you wish to accept this is up to you.

    Andy Gray

Yes, fans have been emailing Sky saying they will cancel subscriptions because of Gray. This is just a reaction to that.
  16. Sky Sports under fire for "anti Liverpool FC bias" Mar 16 2008 Sky Sports was under fire last night over claims the broadcaster was biased in its commentary of Liverpool's Champions League victory over Inter Milan. A legion of angry fans have accused top pundit Andy Gray of favouring the Italian champions over the British club with his comments. Now Reds supporters are threatening a boycott of the broadcasting giant unless ex Everton star Gray is removed from the commentary team for their club's televised games. The #20,0000-a-week Scottish pundit incensed Kop fans by branding the sending off of Inter midfielder Nicolas Burdisso "shocking", claiming Liverpool star Lucas commited the foul. And he got their backs up further by appearing to sound down when Fernando Torres bagged the goal that killed the tie and sent his team into the last 16. Gray said: "It's game over I guess." Season ticket holder Carl Rittenburg stormed: "I pay £48 per month so I can watch Liverpool's matches on Sky but I'll stop my subscription if they continue to let Andy Gray commentate. "The man knows his stuff but he is so anti-Liverpool it's shocking and that was clearly evident during the Inter Milan game when he slated us at every chance. "Gray seemed really annoyed when the Inter guy was sent off - he did nothing but go on about it all game. "Yet he was calling for Liverpool players to get booked at the end of the match. "Even when Torres scored the winner - that saw another British side through to the quarter finals - he sounded disappointed. It was like he wanted the Italians to win. "We're not asking for bias towards Liverpool - were just asking for a fair commentary. "But in having Gray to cover our games we're not getting that from Sky. Kop fan Peter Stenton said: "As viewers we pay Sky for a service and a fair commentary when we watch live football - and in most cases that's we get. "But it seems every time Andy Gray covers Liverpool games out team is given a verbal demolition." Rita Walsh, 40, said: "I was so disgusted with the one-sided commentary during the game I wrote a letter to Sky to complain. "Sky Sports has an obligation to provide fair and accurate coverage but in allowing Andy Gray to commentate on liverpool games it is falling woefully short." Liverpool fans' revolt against Glasgow-born Gray, 53, has been simmering since he was signed up by Sky in 1990. One Kopite has even set up a facebook group calling for the former nand Aston Villa striker to be taken off Liverpool games. Scouser Alex Parkin, 28, said: "I set up the group to get Gray off our games. "If Sky don't take him off then I'll seriously be thinking about scrapping my subscription in protest." It's not the first time Liverpool fans have revolted against a broadcaster. In November last year angry supporters called for a boycott of Eastenders after the show linked the HIllsborough disaster to hooliganism. Campaigners for the 96 dead fans received an apology from the BBC after a character appeared to blame fans for the tragedy. Sky Sports refused to comment. http://www.liverpooldailypost.co.uk/liverp...64375-20631940/
  17. Yes. He said during commentary that luck…(and talent) was a good combiation to have, the emphasis clearly on luck. Sometimes I wonder what Sky would do if all Liverpool fans rang up and threaten to cancel their Sky subscriptions due to his commentary on games involving Liverpool. It would be hugely satisfying to me if his bosses told him he could no longer do our games.
  18. YES YES NO
  19. spot on JJ
  20. That's what I thought. He specifically said Benetiz has luck and talent in equal measures. I have never heard him say the same about other managers.
  21. We got a bit mate. He did say Rafa was a lucky manager.
  22. How would this work mate? Excuse my ignorance but if Hicks has control would he not out vote DIC everytime?
  23. It was a cross
  24. We will find out against Boro.
  25. Why are we getting off topic? What has this man done for us in the last 18 years and with £140 million pounds spent? We need to take on board the view of a significant numbers of posters on here Rafa is a s**** manager and needs to go. No amount of European cup triumphs or title successes in future years will disguise this fact. Please can we return to the subject matter.
