We've not made bad signings, we've just made the wrong signings. All the incoming players are decent but they have made us change the way we play when the way we played was perfect. Love or hate Balotelli, he's a completely different striker to what was working for us. We had pace, trickery with the ball, directness and Balotelli isn't any of that. He's always looking to drop deep or hold the ball up and and he slows down our attacking play. Someone like Remy or Wellbeck suited our style better. Balotelli wasn't performing yesterday and our options from the bench were Borini and Lambert, neither of whom offer that style that worked so well for us last season. Can we get Origi back from loan? Markovic is struggling and we seem to be trying to play him in to form which isnt' going to work. Thought Mignolet was poor for the goal again yesterday, he should be pushing that away to safety not patting it down in front of him. His confidence is shot and I'm at the point where I'd be looking to give Jones a run of games until we can get Valdes in or January comes. The over reliance on Sterling is a massive problem at the moment, he struggled last night and as a result we struggled. We shouldn't be that reliant on a 19 year old no matter how good he is. Sturridge is such a massive miss at the moment.
