A few poor decisions and loose passes but defensively excellent again. The commentator clearly belonged in the "he looks awkward" gang and continued to push that theme to everyone.

He's a pleasure to watch. I'd rather watch him on the ball than any other Liverpool player for the last 10-15 years. He's just completely effortless in everything he does and knows he's better than anyone he plays against. If he can start putting the ball in the net on a regular basis he becomes one of the top 5 players in the world. It doesn't matter if he's marked by 3 players, he wants the ball and he comes away with it, his vision and ability to stand a player up and ghost past him is a joy. At the moment I'd take him over the likes of Silva, Carzola etc

...and a f***ing striker. Sturridge is out and we're playing Sterling up there because the others are gash.

At least that should save some of the wear and tear on his legs.

I'd go as far as to say that Valdes is better than Brad Jones.

Somebody, somewhere needs shooting in the knee caps if we don't sign a keeper and a striker. I'm staggered that a keeper isn't in already given the way Rodgers hung Mignolet out to dry, unless he realistically was pinning his hopes on Brad Jones, in which case he needs sacking as it would be the most Hodgson thing to happen in post Hodgson times.

If he just punches the f***ing thing instead of trying to catch it then it isn't a problem.
