    Don't see that as a 4-3-3, none of Lallana, Coutihno or Markovich is defensively sound enough for that. I think if we are going 4-3-3, then it's probably Lucas in for Markovich or Coutinho. Conversely, if that's the personell, the formation will probably be 4-2-3-1.

    Agreed, and so was the header for the first chance. But for me he clearly lacks sharpness - which is obviously not his fault, but still I wouldn't say he was superb.

    Well yeah, but he was built up to be the great organiser who'd fix our defense, so you'd hope he would help the debutant left back through a tough game and he didn't do that. I'm not writing him off by any stretch but you have to say he didn't have a good game today.
