That point is rubbish though. I can't think of a single instance of an UEFA ban being imposed on any club in any league for something that happened in a domestic game. If your point had been that there's a serious crowd control problem in Switzerland then I couldn't have agreed more BTW.
Very sorry to hear that - always had time for Mellor. Just watched the highlights from the Arsenal match last year: what a feeling that must have been for him. Let's hope he'll enjoy it again.
Highlights: the usual suspects, ManU / Chelsea in the cup, derby at home. My lowlight was actually Chelsea away: I really thought that up to the goal we conceded (which was stupid in the first place) we weren't the worse team...
From the offal: The team in full for today's clash is: Reina Kromkamp Hyypia Carragher Traore Cisse Alonso Gerrard Riise Morientes Crouch Subs: Dudek Agger Fowler Sissoko Warnock
Loved the blurb on the main page: "Two of Anfield's greats competed to see who could use the most hackneyed phrases to praise Pepe Reina. Kenny Dalglish won. "
It doesn't matter how much we're worth. If an "investor" doesn't invest but borrows most of the money for a takeover like Glazer did and then saddles the club with the debt, that is worrying.
The entire capital? That worries me a bit TBH. Last thing I want to happen is a repeat of events up the M62, i.e. an investor borrowing heavily against the club to finance the takeover.
I haven't seen the match so I'm not really in a position to defend Djimi, put the poor b*****d can't win can he. If he makes a mistake it's typical and if Carragher makes one it's because Djimi unnerved him. While we're at it: I'm sure Crouch and Garcia only missed because Djimi put them off...
