Just showing replays and there is no way Allen didn't mean that. If you went for a shot and mis*** as badly as he would've done, you would not jog away like he did. -

Apparently Henderson is the only midfielder we have who's good enough for Liverpool according to Danny Murphy and even he is no Michael Carrick. Really, Danny?

Not buying that. Maybe taken out the spotlight, but not dropped against his will. Any fuss dropping him would cause would be in the dressing room and they will know whether he really has an injury nor not. Also, IMO the fuss would be considerable: only a few months into his tenure Klopp would be sending a very clear message to every player not to believe a word of what he says about them in public.

O'Fish has this team with 3 at the back - Clyne and Gomez in midfield. I'd have thought that Moreno would make a better wingback than Gomez, but hey. Might be sloblocks anyway...

Well he did say one thing that intrigued me: when asked about whether it was fair to say that we used a more direct style in the Stoke game, he said that that was another way of beating the press, by going over the top of it. That makes a lot of sense to me, Benteke gives us that, we had it with Suarez and we sorely missed it last season.

Does anyone have any info about the state of the pitch? It was dreadful last season and I heard that there won't be a chance to do much about it in the offseason because of the work on the main stand.
