  1. I think the Echo suggested it was a pic of Oxlade Chamberlain, but I can’t make it out
  2. I did work it out wrong. Just checked the table. If Man City win we need Man Utd and Arsenal to drop points, same with a draw, but a Man Utd win leaves us needing Man City and Arsenal to drop points, and given Man City's remaining games that seems less likely than the other scenario, so anything but a Man Utd win basically. The usual.
  3. I may have worked this out wrong but I think a draw is actually the best possible result for us. Assuming we win our four games (a pretty big assumption right now, I know) then a draw leaves us needing two of Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal to drop points at some stage. A Manchester City or Manchester United win means we need both of the other two clubs to drop points to be sure of finishing in the top four. So Draw, Manchester City win, Manchester Utd win, in order of preference. Or have I worked this all out wrong?
  4. Frustrating that we couldn't find a winner given our domination but the effort was there and Southampton fought hard. Matip really has transformed the defence hasn't he.
  5. I seem to recall it was the adductors on his left leg that he injured against Swansea. Which leg he seemingly injured last night though, I'm not sure.
  6. Was strange. He seemed to walk off fine, but he did go straight down the tunnel and he was stretching his groin on the pitch so... Sure we'll find out soon enough.
  7. Craig Burley says that "a rocket from the manager" at half time triggered the turn around.
  8. Our goal difference is all but gone now too.
  9. Well that's that. It's bad enough when they turn games around legitimately like against Villa but when it happens like this it's just ridiculous.
  10. Well that was pretty awful to watch and a poor team performance with the defence looking very shaky. That said, it's the result that matters and it's a relief to come away with 3 points.

  12. Rooney will be fit for Wednesday, allegedly.
  13. Villa dropping points so Arsenal might feel that they will still get 4th even if they drop a few of their own, maybe?
