Then we're all happy, but with the facts as they are we're looking to replace a goalkeeper who has been here for eight years, given tremendous service, a strong character and club leader. And we're replacing him with someone who has had one genuinely good season in the league. Pepe might not have played in the Spanish teams that won the last three major competitions, but he's been involved with all of the squads. He's played in a CL final, three domestic finals, plenty of big CL games. He's been involved in teams which win and compete, he's our second longest serving player. Granted there has been a dip in form at times, but is the dip sufficient to justify taking a massive risk and replacing him with the untested Mingolet? I don't think so. Now, it's obviously very different if it transpires that Pepe wants to leave and will be. However, with the facts as they appear at the minute, we're buying Mingolet for £9M in a position where, in my view, we already have a better player and a stronger character - the sort we'll need with a lot of younger players in the team. If Reina wants to go, fair enough. If we've made the call, then I'm more than a little concerned.
