Maybe the plane dropped off Bajcetic to complete his loan move to Red Bull Salzburg.

L'Equipe: Bayern München agree transfer of Kingsley Coman to Al-Hilal. Player still undecided.

Yeah, Gourna-Douath is highly rated - as are many young players here in Salzburg. The average age of their starting eleven is around 21 years right now. The thing is, he might be 1-2 years too young for LFC. Many of these players are hugely talented, but they may not possess the experience required by the people in charge of transfers.

German website Kicker.de says the asking price for Tyler Morton is 25 million Euros. Leverkusen don't want to spend that much and are trying to negotiate a loan deal with an option to buy, or an obligation to buy depending on the number of matches played. Source: kicker.de

Transfer of Bobby Clark to RB Salzburg confirmed. He will surely do better here in Salzburg than LFC legend Andre Wisdom... --> Article (in German)

I dread some other club Pippin us to a signing at deadline day. Why Took it so long to accept that Zubimendi won't come? Not a Merry transfer window, this.

Endo - according to Kicker.de the 6th best DM in the German Bundesliga and categorized "international class" (same as Kimmich). Ranking

Players names on shirts - the unusual ones
Dalglish replied to Sir Tokyo Sexwale's topic in Liverpool FC
I bought a shirt with “Kewell“ (No. 7) right after we signed him. Thought he was the one to win us the league - and it was a beautiful (white) away shirt too. Sadly things did not turn out so well. Other shirts included Redknapp (1995), Fowler (1999 - chose him over Hyypia), Gerrard (2001, 2005) and Alonso (2004). Nothing out of the ordinary there. My wife still likes her “Heskey“-shirt though. -
Here's some info on the deal from reliable German website Kicker.de: Says the release clause for next summer is € 55 mio. To make sure a deal gets done – and to fend off other suitors next summer – LFC were prepared to pay more than the clause demanded. IMHO – and having watched Keita playing in Salzburg for a year – this deal is a steal. RB Leipzig, as well as Salzburg before, offer the perfect surroundings for young players to develop and improve. We will get an even better player next year.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace - Sat 19 Aug 3pm
Dalglish replied to Sir Tokyo Sexwale's topic in Liverpool FC
Was that Gerard Houllier in the stands a few minutes ago? He's still affiliated with Red Bull's football business as far as I know... -
I can't remember Mignolet leaving his goalline to gather high balls played into the area between the goal and the penalty spot. As good as his reflexes are when staying on the line – this is not how you instill belief in the players in front of you. Great keepers like Neuer or Courtois bully opponents out of their way and eliminate the danger by either gathering the ball or pushing it out of the box with their fists. Mignolet keeps watching as the chaos unfolds around him instead of taking action.

Steaua and Young Boys would be the easiest options. Nice is strong, and playing in Istanbul is always a struggle. Hoffenheim is the one to avoid.

Klopp was asked about Keita in an interview after the match. Said he won't talk about it on TV but that Keita is an “interesting player“.

This story on the website of Kicker includes statements of RB Leipzig manager Hasenhüttl. He says that Leipzig wants to establish itself as a top club and by not accepting offers for their best players they made a big step towards that goal. There was a bid from Liverpool for Keita – and none by AC Milan for Forsberg – but both started training without sulking. It is also repeated that there's a clause in Keita's contract that allows him to leave for 55 mio Euros next summer. His current contract runs until 2020.

Some news regarding Douglas Costa, who made an appearance in this thread a few times: Bayern is trying to sell Costa for 40 mio EUR and talks with Juventus are ongoing. If Costa leaves, Bayern might buy Alexis Sanchez. Source: Kicker.de

The answers are nearby/yes/no and undecided

Many clubs in the German Bundesliga started their training camps today, so a quick resolution seems possible. If I were RB Leipzig I would go after Goretzka while working on the sale of Keita.
-
Konrad Laimer (who lived just 4 km away from my house until 1-2 years ago – his younger brother is the goalie for my local team in the lower leagues) is not a replacement for Keita though. The transfer of Austria's reigning Player of the Year was agreed a few months ago. Leipzig will make sure to land Keita's successor before considering a sale. Which could well be happening right now...

FWIW, here are my thoughts regarding Naby Keita and the rumours of a transfer to Liverpool: Watching him play for my hometown team Red Bull Salzburg was a joy to behold. He was so much better than anyone in the Austrian league during his brief stint in Salzburg, and it was clear that this young player is destined for greater things. He owns the same attributes as another former Salzburg player, Sadio Mane: determination, energy and hunger to succeed. Whereas Mane could come across as slightly arrogant, Keita seemed always very humble and coachable. It took him no time to adapt to the tempo in the German Bundesliga where he developed his game even further. He's no Kante or Dier, he's more like Gerrard – a do-it-all type of player. The current player he would replace most likely? Can and/or Henderson. While RB Leipzig are in no need to sell – especially now that they're playing in the Champions League – you never know what might happen. Salzburg is currently selling lots of players (again). One of them is the current Footballer of the Year in Austria who is playing the same position and type of game as Keita – his transfer to RB Leipzig will be made official on July, 3rd. Money talks, even at Red Bull, but a good offer from Liverpool might just come a year too soon. But as many others already pointed out – this is exactly the kind of player we should be after. P.S.: About Red Bull boss Mateschitz: 1.) He is not interferring in dealings of his football teams. 2.) Saw him shopping at my local supermarket last friday, which is located near the HQ of Red Bull. If I had asked him about Keita he sure wouldn't know what the hell I was talking about

Is this some kind of elitist discussion?

Salah? I like him!
