The difference here is, he's a Scouser, it's his home and boyhood club which helped him become the player he is, went from the terraces to the academy to the first team becoming vice-Captain, he could be a one-club legend and help keep winning everything, instead of having his head turned by glamour, fewer games, more money, but with the possibility of regretting the move, and certainly being forgotten by the fans.

F*ck him, his blatant "I'm going, but I'm keeping schtum" shyte all season for the boyhood club that made him has really grated on me. The club comes first, mate, you're not all that. I'm more interested in his replacement, never mind that there may well be good news coming about Virge and possibly Mo, cos with their age, they're gonna need replaced soon too anyway. There needs to be a shift in style of play with the obvious changes coming down the line.
