I've wondered that. Both mancs have pitches 6 yards wider than ours. Although Highbury was even smaller I think.

I think we can all agree that the clip is proof, if proof be need be, that Patrice Evra is a dreadful man.

Kinell, I must be losing my marbles. Can anyone else see a kick on that clip? As opposed to two players moving in opposite directions towards each other maybe having their knees slightly collide?

That angle is as good as it gets. On that clip, at no point are either of Suarez's feet even close to knee height. He's trying to dribble the ball round Evra's right hand side. He didn't kick Evra's knee. If there's another angle that shows something different, I'd like to see it. Edit: there are two of you saying he kicked him now, so maybe I should investigate further. That clip appears to show nothing approaching a kick.

He didn't kick him at all! Watch it again. Their knees might have come together as Suarez attempted to take theball round him.

Did Carroll do something in response to the away end? Heard a big cheer but couldn't see it.

That's a convenient distinction for clubs with a big overseas following, isn't it? Essentially, whether it's fom Redruth or Kuala Lumpur it's all just " money people pay to watch us". Either you say each club keeps what it makes or you have some sort of sharing arrangement for sporting reasons.

Why should overseas tv revenue be treated differently from domestic tv revenue? Other than the fact it's potentially more up for grabs.

Gate receipts were shared between home and away clubs until ( I think) 1985. Tv revenues were obv much smaller, but shared more equally.
