I would imagine if Rafa can push through with the Alves signing then Kromkamp could be used as a makeweight to the Kuty deal. If not then I don't see Rafa using Kromkamp because we'd be short at the RB position. Should be an interesting week with the lads flying out next Tuesday to their training camp and Rafa wanting all his current and newly signed players present and accounted for.

Thought Paletta was really good as well. Comforatable on the ball, really commanded his area and looked to get the other lads organized. Good debut for him. Godwi looks a really good prospect with his size and skill at such a young age. To be 17 years old and have that size and not look clumsy is really something.

Nice pass from Fowler to Bellamy who opens his Liverpool account with a nice finish. He gets a nice congratulations from a young fan who runs onto the pitch. Nice move and finish.

You are correct, I believe the season we signed him he had just won the award. Rafa has really brought in some young potential is his short time here.

I believe it's a heart monitor that he was just adjusting after it had fallen off. Think Ged started this practice during pre-season to track the players fitness.

Surprised there is no mention of the success Momo had last term. Surely he would be considered an "import".

Been confirmed that iN DEMAND were outbid for the rights to carry the games but are saying it's temporary and plan to offer the package next season.

Have just heard back from iN DEMAND and they will NOT be carrying the EPL Package (as they call it) this season. I'm trying ti get an answer why but more than likely because they have been outbid. Thankfully I have cable and satellite.

I am waiting for word back from our Marketing Department who have inquired with iN DEMAND to see if they are going to be offering the package again this coming season. I will post what I find out........

So is the opinion that this deal may still get consumated contrary to what is being reported regarding Pennant? I would love to have both players and the Tunisian lad, it would give Rafa more "possibilties".

That ref was utter rubbish and unfortunately had too much to do with the result. I am sure the Italian media is going to have a field day today with the result. The US definitely deserved their point and had it not been for the referee maybe more. He was a disgrace and I cannot believe some of the decisions he made, criminal! It sickens me to think that such a good match has been tainted by the poor decisons of a referee who has been previously suspended for his inconsistent refereeing. The US surely deserved better, they played a great game and left it all out on the pitch. Shame that.
