Has to be said, that was a shocking miss by Robbie. Fulham are there for the taking. Would really like to see Harry get a chance down the left to see what he can do.
Was just setting up the Tivo to tape the match tomorrow and ESPN Classic (Cox in Northern Virdinia) is showing it live it looks like at . I'll check the guide tomorrow to see if it holds true but as of now it's scheduled to air at 2:30 - 4:45 PM EST.
Cracking left foot on the lad comparable to Riise on his best day. Shame about his injury problems as he had so much more to give as a Red. He ws huge during the Treble season and for that I'll always have fond memories when his name is brought up. Oh and the pass to Owen in the FA Cup.....sublime.
Gutted for the lad, hope his recovery goes well but he'll be out for a long time rehabbing and even then there's no garauntee he'll ever fully recover.
Charging!..........beeeeep.......Clear!.............feck me my heart is thumping out of my chest right now.......we never make it easy do we. Great result but what a nail biter. Well done to the lads, tehy all worked their socks off for that result. The crowd were fantastic as well.

One more thing to add about the A-Rod contract is that while the amount is shocking when looked at as a whole if you see how it's broken down there is a lot of deferred money that won't be paid out until years after his contract is over. That's not to say that I am defending Hicks for making the deal but A-Rod is and will continue to be seen as someone who will put fans in the seats. He's a phenomenal player in the field and an even better hitter. He does lack the moxy when it comes to big games and has been under the cosh a bit since moving to New York. Long may that continue as it certainly benefits ny beloved Red Sox.
Found this a bit ago. Sounds like the owner of the Texas Rangers, Tom Hicks, may be going in 50/50 with Gillett on the purchase of Liverpool Fottball Club. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...115&cc=5901
There was a report of him wanting Davids last week but I haven't heard or seen anything concerning Robbie. Would love for him to come to DC United so I could watch him live and in the flesh.
