  1. He couldn't look too obvious.
  2. Who f***ing cares? All it needed was one swift swing of the right boot, launch it over the stand and the full time whistle blows. Instead, we're f***ed.
  3. Especially with that f***ing t** at the back.
  4. What a f***ing t**.
  5. Hamann, 25 yards out. Doesn't shoot but Smicer MIGHT...!!
  6. Chelsea have that extra semi final appearance, which will disappear next season and thus our performance will be better over the 5 year period. Sevilla won the UEFA Cup twice, so they have a lot of points off that.
  7. I find it hard to believe that Benitez coached Steven Gerrard into walking around the pitch whenever we play a top side in the league.

    Coincidence

Bloody hell, no wonder the b******s spouted in the media is readily accepted. Our squad STILL punches above its weight in Europe. Real Madrid, Barcelona, (ngh) Manchester United, AC Milan, Inter, Juventus, Chelsea, f***ing Bayern Munich...these are the squads good enough to win the CL. Are you telling me that our squad has at any point of Benitez's tenure been on par with them?
  9. Benzema right wing? Are you quite possibly mad, good sir?
  10. http://youtube.com/watch?v=yR8EU8UaHZo All credit goes to Anotherspanishfan on RAWK, he did this by himself.
  11. But Facebook is s***.

    Cisse

Maybe, just maybe, two broken legs in three years might have slowed his 'development'...
  13. Bellamy handed him his a*** on a plate.
  14. No, I meant what's gone wrong with the injury? Is it not healing? Other complications? Kewell's half brother?
  15. Why's that?

    Hicks

Presumably from trying to jab them out?

    Hicks

Which they seem to have reigned in. Ho hum.
  18. Oh, I know. I was incredibly surprised when I heard that DIC were supposedly still in. I don't agree that Sheikh Mohammed has any major input into the day-to-day running of DIC (it's a subsidary of Dubai Holdings, he's hardly going to be in charge of each subsidary) and I wouldn't be surprised if he genuinely didn't give two s***s about whether or not it went through. Sameer Al Ansari is the one in charge and the line about the Sheikh being insulted was probably just put out by someone further down the food chain. The Sheikh's too busy for his own country's politics - whether or not Liverpool are up for sale isn't going to matter one jot. Right now, it would be incredibly stupid for DIC to invest in anything right now. I've been amazed at UAE foreign investment continuing anyway, so for something like this to happen while the dirham is getting raped is silly. (Yes, I know they have foreign currency savings stashed away but they ought to be looking to hold onto them until the revaluation takes place). The only reason I'm in favour of it in principle is that Gillett and Hicks seem to have made a mess of things since October.
  19. Mancini would be an idiot if he put Materazzi against Torres. My Inter supporting friend seems to think that it'll be Maicon, Cordoba, Chivu and Maxwell/Zanetti, injuries permitting. I'm not a big fan of Cordoba but he's under the impression he'll marshall Torres. Personally I hope their injury problems continue - Chivu playing in midfield wouldn't hurt us as much as Vieira, Cambiasso and Stankovic.
  20. Yeah, brain damage takes a while to clear up.
  21. That's because they've had so many injuries though. Last I heard, they had Vieira, Dacourt, Stankovic and Figo all out.
  22. Don't they have Chivu who's preferred to Materazzi anyway?
  23. Yes, yes he is.
  24. Yeah but the culture is completely different here - they wouldn't be treating Liverpool like an Arabic club, more along the lines of a flagship business. They usually bring in foreign CEOs for that, the best in the world, and their longevity is usually down to however long they want to stay. The former CEO for Emirates, for example, is now Executive Vice Chairman (which is a nice way of saying that he's still in power but we'd like a local as CEO now) and has been there since the beginning. They recognise talent when it comes to their foreign operations. Which of course doesn't help me because I f***ing live here. That and Al Ahly are utter s****. When you're that s**** and up against Al Ain, then you're f***ed no matter what.
  25. a***.
