specifically around the mourinho publicly criticising his players, most of the obvious ones. i've heard ferdinand, neville and danny mills talk in those terms this week. carragher's been guilty of it, i think. 'players can't take it these days'. all of them been around or acted like prima donnas in their time.

i'm not aligned to the vision of football that wants to reduce everything to boardroom decisions and acquisitions. sorry. or the assumption that the team isn't being built to klopp's spec. he's a top manager who's attitude to the market and development appears to be much more in line with the owners than it does the majority of fans. i don't know if FSG can bring success. they haven't so far. and i understand some want that certainty. but no one was saying atletico were a club with a winning attitude at the start of this decade. plenty of other success stories have happened in less than obvious ways.
