To try and summarise on the replies. If the "big" teams who are "playing by the rules" ie Us, United, Spuds, Arsenal decide to make it hard for the Premier League if it goes for City, then the financial clout we have would make it very easy to spark a revolt, remember the Premier League itself came about because off the big clubs not being happy.

Week before Istanbul, they must have thought it couldn't get any lower for them??? That tournament is one of the reasons I think the City decision is taking so long to come to a head, there is bound to be pressure from FIFA along with the political pressure to go easy on City.
