Ibe, what a cracker! Not wanting to keep comparing him to Sterling, but can anyone imagine Sterling striking a ball like that?

There's a Liverpool XI playing in Corby this weekend against a PSV and Porto team... Anyone know if there's a chance of any of the new lads or Coutinho might get a go in that since I'm currently visiting my girlfriend's parents down there?

Since we're kinda on the topic of the 2013/14 season, has anyone seen Sky Sports #PLmoments s***e? They're listing the best moments of each season and 2013/14 has the Gerrard slip (which I think is obviously winning), Mourinho's return, Palace's comeback against us and a few others... No mention of the total annihilation of Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham (twice), our 16 game unbeaten run, Coutinho's winner vs. City or anything... I know I shouldn't really care, but it does make me a bit angry... (and I'm probably a bit biased)...

It's to do with age though, in my opinion... older players tend to earn bigger pay checks then their young counterparts... at the same time players expect to earn more the older they get... so if you start Sterling of at 120 a week at his age, his wage demands will be even higher once he hits 28...

That sounds like a really unfortunate and childish surname to have during middle school...

I'd imagine we'd be after Rondon rather than Bacca... simply because he would fit the moneyball thing a lot more... younger, probably cheaper and he would be coming from a not so prestigious club...

We shouldn't forget that United forked out 27mil (32 with add-ons) for a pretty much unproven 18 year old English right back... If you consider that Sterling is considered one of if not the best talents in Europe atm and is an attacking player, I don't see why it unrealistic to demand 50 million... especially considering its from a direct rival and we don't really have to sell him yet...

Didn't Downing do something similar... His first competitive game and he went on a fantastic run and smashed it against the bar or something? I was full of optimism after that...

Well, if you look at each of them individually they will each have the same "history" up until the point where the original Ibe is cloned. So if you consider the history of each Ibe to be a straight line, they will each share the same line up until the point where they split off from each other by being cloned. So during his loanspell they were all still part of the original Ibe which in my eyes would make each single one of them cup tied...

Mignolet must have had the game of his life... that spell where he saved Costa's shot and took the ball of his feet minutes later was incredible... Here's hopeing this absolutely skyrockets his confidence....
