My preferred scenario would be to score two dodgy controversial goals in the first 20 minutes and then just laugh at them for the remaining 70 minutes. However, I am incredibly nervous about this... This seems like the kind of tie where we lose our nerves and then have to listen to them sing about it for the rest of our lives...

This point is quite important for me. I would love to just do a Football Manager and get rid of some of the deadwood and replace them with top signings in each position we need to improve. But unfortunately, we are not the only team out there looking to improve. Also, the whole Teixeira thing has shown that other clubs really don't have to sell to us if they don't want to. So instead of diving into a complete overhaul and buying players for the sake of filling positions, I feel we should concentrate on buying some actual quality players that we can actually get instead of going on a massive spending spree and just end up with more of the same. We might not be able to fill every position we need to, but at least we can be sure that the players we do get will actually do the job we need them to do and sort us out for a while...

I wouldn't mind one half Liverpool half Dortmund, simply because they are kind of the team I support in Germany... So having a scarf with half Liverpool half your second team I think is okay...

Think something along these lines was posted a while back but I can't find it... I'm looking for some kind of android app that would download the episodes for me while in a wireless connection so that I can listen to episodes in the car or while running without having to use up any of my data allowance... It would also help if it would allow me to add my log in details for the premium part of the show... Does anyone know about something along those lines? I mean I could just access the website via my phones browser but this is the 21st century after all, I'm not some caveman!!!

Some mates of mine who are schalke fans and obviously always hated Klopp always claimed that it was Buvac who was tactically gifted and turned Dortmund into what they became... I think that's one of the issues a lot of people including myself have with him, he never seems to take responsibility for anything that goes wrong... At the same time he's quick in telling everyone what he's doing right... At least I can't remember him ever doing it so maybe I'm being unfair...

This is basically what most people I know over here in Germany have been saying since the end of last season... For them its pretty clear that he didn't want to go from Dortmund straight to Bayern out of respect for the fans and that that is the real reason for him taking a year off (even though he'd still basically go straight from Dortmund to Bayern, so maybe they're just as clueless as anyone...). Additionally that would coincide with Guardiolas contract running out at the end of this season...

Not wanting to stir things up, but am I the only one who was a little disappointed in the end? We were miles better than them first half... we should have been ahead and we played the kind of football we can and in my mind should play as much as possible... And because of that I wanted to see some of that momentum being carried on into the second half... I'm aware that people wouldn't have been able to keep that kind of pace up all game... but for example I was a bit disappointed in extra time when we didn't try a bit more after that Moreno run instead of passing the ball around in midfield before giving it away again... Don't get me wrong, a draw away at Arsenal is a really good result and I would have taken it before the match... but still I thought we had as good a chance as ever to actually do them considering our first half performance...

If its for 15 mil then fair enough, but Mkhitaryan was really underwhelming last season... I mean the whole Dortmund side was really, but I watched them quite a bit and him and Immobile for me were probably the most disappointing, considering what was expected of both of them...

That doesn't make sense to me... If that is the issue, then the two scenarios are a) him not leaving and us having to pay said loyalty bonus and at least another 6 month salary b) simply pay him the loyalty bonus anyway and ship him off to somewhere else and not pay the 6 month salary... or am I simplifying the issue...
