  1. Watching 2005 to write a article for the Russian site. I'm shivering all over.
  2. In the good old times there would've been nothing easier for me than going to Kiev. Board a train, drink a bottle of vodka, wake up in Kiev next day. But now we're separated by the area of hostilities, so it's first by bus to Kharkiv for me, then, if I pass the border, a train to Kiev. Will state at my mate, and I feel I'm lucky, because they say accomodation is exhorbitant. It will be my first final ever and I don't know what to feel. No ticket, of course, but I would never forgive myself I didn't go. So see everyone in Ukraine!
  3. Brazil vs Switzerland, Uruguay vs S.Arabia, Mexico vs Korea, Iceland vs Croatia plus 1/8 between England/belgium and 2nd team from Poland/Colombia group.
  4. England playing in my city if qualified from the 1st place in their groop))
  5. Anyone going to Moscow?
  6. Lost 0-1, but we still have our honour. Two positive things: Pogba injured and scum still busy in the cups
  7. Guys, please spare some support for my local club who are playng the scum in their lair this evening.
  8. November 23, Rostov-on-Don, Xabi signing my ticket from 2009 game at OT after Rostov vs Bayern (3-2)
  9. Thanks for your hospitality )) Returned home late at night after the game, got drunk. Could barely work. We played well, but no chance of going through after 1-1 at home. Moreover we lost 3 of our key players - 2 yellow card bans and a broken collarbone.
  10. Haven't been writing here for ages, but now there's a good reason: my local club FC Rostov are playing the Scum on Thursday. Going to the stadium wearing Liverpool shirt ))
  11. I really can't write, I'm drunk, called my mate in Kazakhstan, yebat' Zenit ebat', yebanye pidory
  12. I read he's cup tied.
  13. He missed last year but now he's fit.
  14. They are probably the most aggressive lot in Russia nowadays. I wouldn't recommend wearing colours outside stadium. Red is also Spartak colour which makes them crazy.
  15. The only way to the stadium is over the bridge. The stadium is not large, so it's sold out most of the times.
  16. Of the recent news, I can add that Hubochan was hit during a practice, may miss the game but they say there's still a good chance he can recover. One more option for their defence is the newcomer Luis Neto from Siena. It's common knowledge that Russians are usually struggling in February and March. It can be also the case with Zenit. On the other hand, noone really knows what Zenit are really like at the moment. Their pre-season games haven't been very impressive, the atmosphere within the team hasn't been ideal since the appearance of Witsel and Hulk. Still I think that a lot more depends on Liverpool. If we have a proper attitude and the best team, then we have all the chances. If we come to St. Petersburg like we came to Moscow vs Anji, it will be very tough. BTW. Is anyone from the forum coming? We're arranging a pre-party and an after-party and would be happy to see any fellow Reds who are willing to join.
  17. You've just made me work - had to google 'John Bradley'
  18. I've just got it from a reliable source that Zenit have decided to part ways with their captain DM Igor Denisov. The player is likely to go due to a 12-million option in his contract.
  19. Looks like the photo was taken when he was a reserve at Zenit some ten years ago or Photoshop was used. My wife says he's a beauty ))
  20. Have just booked 2 tickets for the flight, February 13. Can't wait for the trip.
  21. Kerzhakov after yesterday's game: "I shook the hand of Torres before the game. I should have known..."
  22. The second after Dumbia of Ivory Coast.
  23. Nice to see people here optimistic about Russia's perspectives )) I'm going to Donetsk - Kiev - Donetsk to watch Liverpool, eh sorry England playing. If any of you guys are coming to Ukraine, feel free to call me +79281760seven0seven. Ready to drink a lot of beer.
  24. No, what I mean is that people tend to exaggerate. Stories about street crime in SA, told thousands miles away from it, or videos of a dozen imbeciles on a game in East Europe doesn't necessarily mean the country is not safe. Once in Germany I was going from Magdeburg to Berlin by train. Suddenly, at a station, several dozens of Nazi Dynamo Dresden fans burst into the carriage and started crashing everything around them till the moment the police appeared. Should I say it's dangerous to travel in Germany?
