why downing FFS???????????

This is my biggest concern. I actually think we played better in the first games of the season. I could see the plan. I enjoyed how we tried to pass the ball from the back, I liked how we seemed to press the opposition just like we expected from Rodgers as this is his modus operandi. I dont see it in the last month (give or take). I still belive in him. Something tells me he has it in him to take us back to the top. But some of his recent comments dont read too well.

Where is the early sub when you need it?

I really dont care who plays instead of downing. Assaidi is miles better thn downing. our attack is weak enough, and we make it weaker with this lineup.

I have seen enough of downing. I dont need to see him again to know he is utter s**t! and Suso is our best option behind Suarez (as long as Gerrard continues in this form).

we are getting killed on the counter all season. our midfield trio are not good. really lack pace and thrust. I dont know what is it with Gerrard. he either very frustrated, or he really lacks fitness because he doesnt look interested when we defend most of the time, but even when we break forward, he takes his time. Downing, another game where he does nothing. Cant stand him. Henderson, he isnt a FB. Lately posters here think he can be Lucas backup. I dont really see it. he has good stamina, but not much more then that.I think he has potential, but have to admit im starting to lose that faith. The team mentality in the last minutes was awful. Played like we were leading 4-0 in a friendly. Cole had a good game. Thought Suso was very good too, shouldnt have come off. played 2 great passes for Cole.

why no Robinson?

And what would fans say if they did interview him, and decide against him? "How can they choose X over Rafa????" It was a lose-lose situaition for them If they dont appoint him.

I was sure I saw Rodgers say that we arent looking for a no.9 last week. we are looking more for wide forwards. so Damiao doesnt make much sense. or maybe I didnt understand/imagined what Rodgers said.

no links. the friend who told me doesnt remember where he saw it. but I suppose he will cost a fair amount of money so pinch of salt. also doubt they will sell a leading player when they are through to the next round in the CL.

I heard the media in Armenia are linking us with Mkhterian (sp) of shekhtar (sp)..

not much creativity in this midfield trio to best utilise the pace upfront IMO.
