We seem to be doing worse with an arguably stronger squad than last season. I think the key points are the failure to sign a top class striker, the injury to Harry Kewell and earlier in the season loss of form of key players. -
Made me laugh that bit. Whilst the ball was in the air (which was probably around 3 minutes) I was thinking that there had to be a benefit of making the decision to loft the ball vertically. It was soon followed by the realisation that there is a reason why I hadn't seen a player perform that trick before. Mystifying. (Still boss though.)

I feel physically sick but at the same time proud of the performance - a similar performance on Tuesday and we're in the CL quarter finals. All that's missing is a top class striker but we all knew that anyway.
