Due to the number of complaints to BBC and OFCOM, it was discussed on the Roger Philips show today on Radio Merseyside. Unfortunatelty, I only caught the very end of it. As was pointed out on the radio, Eastenders is a fictional show with fictional characters. Why have the BBC chosen to use factual events in the show, especially those as sensitive as Heysel and Hillsborough?? Lazy script writing or not, it is very strange.
