    Thats how Arsenal raised money to raise money for the New North Bank developpment back at the start of the 1990s, sold bonds, priced at £1000 and £1500 - Season Ticket on top of this. As the quality of football increased through the 1990s, they rocketed in value, reaching 6-7k IIRC. Of course, the a*** fell out of the market when the new stadium was launched!

    its wierd how he seems to have escaped scot free in the recriminations. Was absolutely ridiculous to do what he did. Mind you, it was starting to get heated. I was hoping and praying for a mass brawl to develop, bu alas, just a girly little slap.

    yeah, pace was never my strong point either. One of my PE teachers once told me that I had a great football brain, but other limitations meant that I should focus this intelligence on computer games. Harsh, but ultimately fair.

    Fabregas did indeed pull him, but outside the box. The rest of it was messy, and I never complained too bitterly about it because I could see what the referee thought he saw. The only reason I mentioned it is because I thought that between the 2 incidents in the QF, I think you would struggle to argue that you didnt get the better end of the deal. Therefore I was surprised to see your comment about the refereeing the the Semi Final

    My long range and peripheral vision are both without fault. It's always been my inability to play an accurate pass over more than 5 yards that prevented me hitting Maradonna's heights as a footballer.
