Never mind £1.5m lost, Traore cost me £100
RafaShanks replied to Scally Bob 's topic in Liverpool FC
I blame Josemi for everything -
I'd be happy with £3.5m to be honest. If he scores a few in Germany, we might be able to get a bit more
-
I can't believe some of the money spent during Ged's reign
-
He's a gonna. Shame, cause I thought he was gonna be the bees knees. The question should be how much of the £6.3m we're gonna re-coup
-
Terry Henry? Source?

According To Sky Sports, Independiente denying any deal is done: Sly Link Our chances of signing him are a bit like our chances of finishing 2nd, highly unlikely at that price

Breaking news on Sky Sports news: He's signed a four year deal with them

Is right

23m Euros? Fook me Considering what we paid for Paletta and Gonzalez, we were never gonna get involved. We need to find these players at a younger age, before the hype kicks in
-
Swap for Momo? I personally think Momo's s***. What has he won compared to Vieira
-
Kenyon: You've done well, Lord Mourinho. And now I sense you wish to continue your search for young Gonzalez. Mourinho: Yes, my Master. Kenyon: Patience my friend. In time he will seek *you* out, and when he does, you must bring him before me. He has grown strong. Only together can we turn him to the Dark Side of the Force. Mourinho: As you wish. Kenyon: Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.

Quality strikers can create chances on their own/other team members

I seriously think we should be in for Huntelaar as well, who scored again in this game. His strike rate is just out of this world. Kuyt and Hunterlaar would be lethal together. I'm sure Rafa has checked him out.

AJAX ? FEYENOORD 3-0 Feyenoord experienced a torrid night in Amsterdam Thursday, as Ajax took a huge step towards the playoff final with a three-goal win. The hefty deficit was not the only downer for the Rotterdammers however, as Erwin Koeman?s side ended the game with just nine men, following red cards for André Bahia and Romeo Castelen. Ajax also lost a player of their own to the red menace, in Steven Pienaar, but that dismissal was more than compensated by goals by Mauro Rosales, John Heitinga and Klaas Jan Huntelaar. Feyenoord made a strong impression early on at the Arena, producing two fine opportunities within the first quarter of an hour. Dirk Kuyt?s tenacity on twelve unsettled Maarten Stekelenburg and Greene capitalised to whip in a shot that Stekelenburg had to work hard to keep out. The home keeper also had to exert himself to deny Romeo Castelen a few minutes later. The outside right waltzed past Urby Emanuelson, before cutting inside to rifle off a low shot that Ajax?s last man kept out with his feet. It was a promising start by Feyenoord, but the Rotterdammers couldn?t keep the momentum going, showing some defensive frailties as Ajax ventured forward. Ron Vlaar made two mistakes in almost as many minutes, but Rosales (over) and Hedwiges Maduro (wide) were unable to make the defender pay. The next error did not go unpunished however. This time it was André Bahia who ceded possession unnecessarily, opening a path up for Rosales towards goal. The Argentinean?s first effort smashed against the bar, but when the ball came back to him Rosales had luck on his side, as his effort caught a deflection of Vlaar and into the top corner to give the hosts the lead. Ajax might even have grabbed a second before the break, when Huntelaar latched onto a misjudged back pass from Greene, but the Eredivisie?s top marksman was unable to find the target. It wasn?t going to be Bahia?s evening. The Brazilian looked anything but strong in the first half, had a hand in the opening Ajax goal and saw his participation come to a premature end just past the hour mark. The ball had gone out for a throw to the home side, but Bahia decided to take the ball with him as he ran back to take up a defensive position and the referee rewarded him for his actions with a second yellow card. The remaining ten visitors might have felt that the hosts would go for the kill, but before Ajax had a chance to go on the attack they were also down to ten men. Pienaar had been on the pitch for little over five minutes when he went in hard on Dirk Kuyt and was shown a straight red to end his night almost before it had started. And yet the South African?s dismissal worked against Feyenoord, as the Amsterdammers went for broke. It culminated in a minute of madness for the Rotterdammers that all but ended their Champions League hopes. The headache started on 79 minutes when Heitinga was given time and space to score from Boukhari?s free kick, but the tumult had barely died down again when Rosales send in a cross that Huntelaar headed in at the far post for number three. And as if the evening hadn?t turned sour enough, Erwin Koeman?s side were left sucking at lemons in the final couple of minutes when Castelen was shown the game?s third red card after hauling down Huntelaar when the home striker had a free run in on goal, leaving Feyenoord with a number of Himalayan peaks to climb come Sunday at De Kuip. Ajax ? Feyenoord 3-0 27? 1-0 Rosales 79? 2-0 Heitinga 80? 3-0 Huntelaar Referee: Braamhaar Yellow: Heitinga, Vlaar Red: 61? Bahia (2x yellow), 71? Pienaar, 87? Castelen Ajax: Stekelenburg; Boakye, Heitinga, Vermaelen, Emanuelson; Galasek, Maduro (65? Pienaar), Boukhari; Rosales, Huntelaar, Rosenberg. Feyenoord: Lodewijks; Gyan, Vlaar, Bahia, Bosschaart; Greene, Paauwe, De Guzman; Castelen, Kuyt, Kalou (81? Boussaboun). http://www.feyenoord.com/domains/feyenoord..._12770000000008 Can't see him staying now

We're after Bellamy & interested in Bent and Defoe

Bent, Defoe, Bellamy... Not good enough for LFC in my opinion -
Bonera interest hots up By Nadia Carminati - Created on 20 Apr 2006 A transfer scramble for Parma's Daniele Bonera is anticipated this summer, and Liverpool reportedly remain in pole position to sign the impressive defender. The Reds had a ?7 million bid rejected for the centre back in September, and were also linked with a move in January when they were reputedly close to clinching a deal for the Gialloblu star. If Parma opt to part with their star stopper than they can expect to receive an avalanche of offers, with the Italian media speculating that Juventus, Internazionale, Roma and Palermo are all keen on the Italian international. Bonera's current deal at Stadio Ennio Tardini expires in 2007 and if they are to maximise his financial value in the transfer market then they would have to auction him off in June. Parma would be loath to lose the highly rated defender, and Liverpool signed Daniel Agger in January with Gabriel Paletta set to arrive in the summer, but The Reds reportedly remain top of the pile should they decide to pursue Bonera when the transfer window opens. http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?HLID=38...ball_Home&f=rss Why are we/have we being continually linked with him? We now have Agger and Paletta arrives in the summer, unless Rafa will stick Gabriel in the reserves for a season. I've never seen him play. Is he good enough for LFC? Thoughts?
-
Hasn't he signed a pre-contract with Villarreal?
-
Bellamy or Pennant. Neither good enough for me
-
Have a sit down mate
-
He's only gone and scored another scorcher from outside the box Four in six now
-
Didn't Pennant say recently that he wasn't gonna leave Birmingham?
