well that game told us nothing we didnt already know...win was good but still.. he looked better when Gerrard came on, but that was more to do with with Gerrards fantastic ability rather than anything Carroll did.. He now officially reminds me of Eric Meijer...though not as good

That would be...Martin Skrtel He has had a fantastic season..and for me, our player of the season so far. In past seasons... for one that looks like a monster he played like a bit of a wimp, yet now he really seems to be showing the potential that the mean face and angry man tattoos suggested. He always seems to win his headers(something that never seemed to happen) hes actually passing the ball out of defence (instead of just hoofing it) and seems to display confidence in tight situations at the back. I honestly had written him off and figured we would need a new center back, but alongside Agger he looks magnificent..now obviously having the quality of Agger alongside has helped...still no one can doubt the contribution Martin has made to our impressive goals conceded tally. Arise Sir Martin....you have been fantastic so far, keep it up!

i actually think Suarez cutting in from the left could well be his best position...kinda like Villa for Barca. Luis links play well, is quick..great close control, has a fantastic pass on him....seems ideal for an inside left position.. Ideally..
