Pretty much nailed it there STS. England have been dire and the NHS should prescribe videos of the game for insomniacs. Trent, was utilised in centre midfield, which was deemed a failure. With that in mind, only one or two England players actually showed up. So the experiment and England performance was more to blame, yet Trent was used as the scapegoat. Kane, should not be on the park. I have seen more movement in the local cemetery after midnight. But this seems to be the overriding theme present day England. Filled with stars who can't be bothered to put the effort in and show for their team mates, movement seems lacking in every game. Watching side to side football in defence with the occasional 75 yard punt from Pickford is the highlight of the games. I wont miss them when they go out.

I agree and see trent being an old style right sided midfielder. A Steve Heighway. I worry about his defending at times, inconsistency and ball watching. Other times he can do very well.
