Surely the assistant ref would have seen the incident more clearly than the ref. He should have made the decision and told Bennet. Arsenal milked it and got what they wanted. It was something I was thinking about on Saturday. As in rugby there would have to be a time limit. I think they have ten minutes? Something like five minutes for a couple of stitches or a bandage would be fine.

That would have been a yellow if the ref wasn't concerned for birthday boy's welfare after the little nudge from Harry. The assistant ref flagged for that challenge but thought better of talking to the ref about it. 'Twas a class challenge. -
