Commentators always go on about consistency but seemingly forgot it in that instance. Motson was quick to point to the earlier Crouch one when Crouch challenged Cudicini with his foot up but didn't mention it when Terry did the same. Overall Poll gave them everything. Crouch was very hard done by in particular.

A source close to Bellamy said: "Craig is wanted by Liverpool as they are going to rebuild their strikeforce next season. They are also very interested in Jermain Defoe and they are very interested indeed in Darren Bent. With Peter Crouch and possibly Robbie Fowler, that would hopefully give them the firepower to compete with Chelsea." So if we sign Bent and Defoe would Bellamy's source still be as happy for us to challenge Chelsea? -
I can't see us getting second. Even if they only win two matches the goal difference is too much to make up. It's a shame that blip after new year has cost us a shot at the title and the chance of second place - Utd's run of recent wins hasn't helped either.

I can see Momo getting some kind of retribution for that tackle on 'spit' at the reebok. Considering Momo's recent problems it wouldn't surprise me if Diouf goes after him with a stray elbow at some point.

class performance from Xabi. He took absolute control of play and was simply outstanding. They were doing their best to knock him off his game with late challenges but he rose above it. His delivery from the set plays was excellent too.
