  1. “Hi chatGPT: what is envy?”
  2. I've been here, under this name, for ages. And no covert pseudonym action. But I guess you wouldn't believe a word I'm saying what ever I say now, no?
  3. Read that as “Trent’s porno” and got regretful pictures of him and Jude in my head which I now want to unremember.
  4. The forum needs him back. He was a good kind of crazy, a sage like you say is right. The absolute amount of mean spirited stick he got on here was out of order at times.
  5. One of the best kits ever, that one.
  6. Get them both and see which one comes up trumps. Sell two of Nunez, Diaz and Jota.
  7. Nobody in the history of football has scored or played at the top of their ability every single game. He’s allowed being human and all.
  8. All true. Apart from John Henry's political donations. I checked it earlier and there's no records of him making any donations since 2004 when he supported Democrats with a few ten thousand dollars. Also owns the very liberal Boston Globe. He is keeping schtum on political contributions and endorsements, but would consider him, historically, dem leaning. Much of his other business stuff is of course despicable.
  9. Just start next season with a massive points deduction for them, 115 points minus. That way they get relegated in an orderly fashion and there'll be no haggling with the Championship on how to accommodate them. Also all other teams' fans can heckle them for a whole season and watch them playing with less purpose and grit than Tottenham. And then they start the season in the Championship with say minus 60 points.
  10. Sign two footed players!
  11. I remember often being frustrated by the players around him. Artist surrounded by cloggers.
  12. No, lovely actually
  13. He always reminds me of Terry Jones in drag in any number of Monty Python scenes.
  14. Sturdy underdog, paying customer, television drama. Good Scouse vs. Bad Scouse. Event expectation management. Take your pick.
  15. Looks Looks on par with the Ronaldo plaque in Madeira.
  16. Cobs never seeing a Bilbao or Spain game?
  17. I think he only went on the outside once and when he did he telegraphed the move so early that the Everton lump got there comfortably to block the cutback.
  18. Is there any official vehicle for the f*** Tarkowski be retro banned? (I guess not, but still asking)
  19. Which is all good until Nico's wage demands come in. He's said to be on 200k a week at Bilbao and is looking for an increase.
  20. Yeah, I did actually!
  21. I think we are in a situation squad wise where I'm relatively confident only on Macca and Szobo, and perhaps Curtis, being here next season. Everyone else, be it Allison, starting back four and all of our starting strikers from yesterday (plus Nunez), could be off. Same with anyone on the bench. Not all of them will be let to leave at the same time of course, but a good half dozen of the squad could go. Then there are some who we as a collective believe will or should be off, like Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Elliott. But none of us know what Slot's plans for next season are, and it is conceivable that some of these underused players will find more minutes next season depending on what kind of players are coming in, and perhaps thereby creating a new dynamic on the pitch and a new role for a player who hasn't played much this season. All of the mentioned (Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Elliott) I think have a lot to offer, if the team balance is a bit different next season, along with Slot perhaps being able to trust his squad to do their jobs the way the gaffer want ball to be played. I'm at considerable ease with the situation, Arne has earn the trust. But here comes the sticky bit: it all comes down to Hughes getting the players Arne needs and for FSG to foot the bill.
  22. No, you're absolutely right of course. And nobody disagrees, not even Duncan Ferguson. But still the refs do it, time and again. Imagine having these as traffic police or air traffic controllers. It would be seriously dangerous to move from one spot to another
  23. This is the grey zone they've created for themselves to be comfortably incompetent in.
  24. Not wise for me to say it or him not taking his meds? If the former I apologise and just want to reiterate that I really don't mean it as being judgmental or derogatory on people with mental issues, having plenty of that in my close circle. Just think his actions and demeanour looks absolutely, well, mental.
  25. The rookie ref doesn't have the balls to make the call so early on in the game and leaves it for VAR to consider. Fair enough, I suppose. It's all on Tierney. But the c*** he is, he wouldn't make the obvious decision. Obviously
