To be honest if we did sign Seedorf and Gudjohnsen i think i would be happy with that. Seedorf is only 32 and a fine athlete and Gudjohnson is a proven premiership player. Would improve the squad deffo.

Your right, however nothing we can do about it unfortunately. Until we are on the same financial footing as our rivals, Rafa is left to improvise in the transfer market with a limited budget. Just hope we can get one big name in like Alves or Villa.

Watched Marseille v Bordeaux last night, decent game. Bordeaux dominated the game and after losing 1-0 at HT they ended up winning 2-1 with a 91st minute wonder goal. The equaliser wasn't bad too...... 25 yard free kick by Brazillian left footer ... Wendel. However one player stood out last night and that was Gabriel Obertan. He looked a really good winger in the Ryan Giggs mould. Ran at players all game and had a few tricks up his sleeve that caused Marseille problems. Anyone know anything about him? I know the French league is s**** but i get the feeling this lad has a big future in the game.

Time to move him on now, good servant for the club and helped us win lots of trophies but he can't defend as a left back and is always on the backfoot. 7 years is a good stint but we need something else now.

Be great if we can capture that Marcelo Moreno, watched a lot of Cruzeiro this season and he is a very good centre forward. Tall, strong, and a good finisher we'd probably get him for a reasonable fee as well.

oi .... Would love Rafa to sign Heinze just to get one over fergie and it would give us more depth in the leftback/centreback positons. He's a fighter and winner and we need more players of that ilk in the squad.

Agree totally mate ... no way he could go back to Carrington as a Man U player after what has happened, basically the premier league have forced an International Player out of the league! What is the script with him at the moment? I understand he has been training with the ressies since the lads reported back to Melwood but he hasn't been involved in any of the pre-season squads as of yet. Is he off (loan/transfer) or has Rafa told him to prove himself and he may be given a lifeline back into the 1st team setup?

The 3 stadiums that HKS have been involved in all look brilliant. Unique in deisgn, although the Lucas Oil and the American Airlines Stadiums have a similar feel to them. The Dallas Cowboys stadium is immense. Can't wait to see the designs for 'new anfield' especially after the Vernon Sangstor fiasco by those manc architects.
