  1. Coutinho head and shoulders above everyone else 1st half. Borini and Suso poor. Ibe very promising as always. Brad Jones is a terrible keeper. What's Adam Phillips natural position?
  2. Well it's more Burnley at home than Bayern away. Plus we'd score 5+ either way!
  3. My head has gone imagining us lining up in a 433 with a front 5 of: Sterling - Sturridge - Markovic ------Lallana - Coutinho
  4. In Markovic and Sterling we have two of the most exciting attacking prospects around. Tricky, pacey. Can't wait for the new season!
  5. Yeah Borini must be there surely? Think both Jack Dunn and Kristoffer Peterson have been training with the first team, will probably get some game time.
  6. Has already, or is about to, signed for Bayern.
  7. Word is the Mancs have been working on Cavani for months. Can see PSG selling as they'll have to bring in some cash to compensate for buying Luiz and Di Maria FFP-wise.
  8. Having one great season isn't going to make all of europe notice us as a serious force. In order to compete for more established top players we'll have to make a splash in the CL, then everyone will know. Was the same with Dortmund.
  9. No way either Markovic or Can signs for us without CL IMO.
  10. Has there actually been any credible links to Bony?

    Raheem Sterling

Yep, give it to him and make Sturridge take no.9 as well.
  12. Exactly. It doesn't work to generalize over transfers. It's player specific what works and what doesn't, not to do with age, nationality, prior league etc.

    Coutinho

Should have been in the Brazil squad. Much better than Oscar last season.
  14. Just send him a tape of our last home game against Arsenal and he won't be going there anytime soon.
  15. James and Higuain both moved for 40m last summer, no way either is moving for less than 60-70. Pointless names to discuss...
  16. I very much doubt Sanchez has any preference between us and Arsenal. In he's unsure about coming here it's probably because 1. He'd rather stay at Barcelona 2. He might prefer Italy since he had lived there and presumably speaks the language
  17. The only reason people were not going on about Sanchez pre WC was mainly not thinking he was someone we could get. Other than that I'd have been delighted had we signed him at any point during the last 3 years. Think he suffers a bit at Batcelona in the same way as Neymar in playing second fiddle to Messi, could really flourish for us. I'd have happily paid 40-50m for him.
  18. Apart from Cosa Rica, all quarter finalists must be feeling that they have a great chance of winning it. Wide open.
  19. You clearly didn't see their first two games? He was shockingly poor. Wilmots using the old Steve Clarke tactic of putting him on against tired defenders to great effect here!
  20. Really like the look of Origi. Looks increadibly mature for his age and very talented. Apperently only his 17th ever first team start.
  21. Some talk in dutch media about us being interested in Huntelaar. Very much doubt it myself, feels like that ship has sailed.
  22. Just because he would rather go to Italy (if that would be the case) doesn't mean he's against coming here. You can't expect us to be everyone's first choice but I'd be surprised by anyone who has anything against coming to play for the 2nd best team in England.
  23. Does he also get an orgy in London?
  24. Müller is such a strange player. I don't think he's that good but on the other hand he's extraordinarily productive which makes him great in a way. Think he struggles up front though and that's one of the main reasons why Germany are not playing better, always thinks he looks at his best playing a bit deeper, drifting in and out of play. Either way, no chance he's coming here anytime soon.
  25. Absolute c*** of a club to deal with in regards to transfers is Barcelona. Say what you want about Real Madrid but they're at least prepared to cough up the dough. Expect this to drag on for another month, have Messi and Neymar come out and blame us for holding him hostage etc.
